Mitsuki is a 12 year old girl with a strong passion for singing. Ever since she was a young girl she has dreamt for becoming a famous singer. However, there are many obstacles that stand in her way. She is currently suffering from cancer of the throat, making it not only painful to sing, but fatal to her health. On top of this she lived with her very strict grandmother, who would do almost everything in her power to prevent Mitsuki from leaving the house.

Becoming a singer is not only a dream for Mitsuki, but also a promise she made many years ago. When she was much younger a dear friend of hers had left for America in order to pursue his dream to become an astronaut. Before he left, he told Mitsuki that he would find her again one day, him as an astronaut and her as a singer. In order to fulfill this promise, Mitsuki is determined to sing, even if it means death.

One day Mitsuki is confronted by two spirits that represent the "God of Death". They have come to inform Mitsuki that she only has one year left to live. With this in mind, Mitsuki is even more determined to become a singer before she leaves the world. With the help of both Takuto and Meroko, Mitsuki defies her grandmother's wishes and reached for her goal.

However there is another problem. In order to audition to become a singer, Mitsuki must be at least sixteen years old. With this, Takuto gave Mitsuki a pill that gives her the ability to transform into a sixteen year old, although this is not permanent.

Mitsuki is a kind young girl with an innocent soul. Despite all the problems she must face she is still able to continue smiling for the world. Although this has become one of her draw backs, she is easily pushed around by loved ones and often fails to find the energy to fight for herself. She has a tendency to put other people's happiness before her own. She may only be 12 year olds, but Mitsuki is as very mature girl.

This is a Sailormoon-ish magical-girl manga about a girl named Maron, whose parents leave her at a very early age, and she lives alone. Every day, she checks her mail box, hoping there's a letter from her parents, but there never is. She prides herself on being a "strong girl", but inside, she's falling apart. Her friend, Miyako, and the love-interest, Chiaki, and her angel-friend, Fin, are what keep her going. Oh, and did I mention she's also a super hero? ^_^ She's also Kaitou Jeanne, a super-hero who fights off demons who possess humans who own beautiful pictures. Jeanne has to "checkmate" the demons to get the chess pieces out of the pictures, and then the demon goes away and Jeanne replaces the original picture with a new one. That's why she's called a "kaitou" (sort of like "thief"), but the cops can't complain since Jeanne's replacement pictures are prettier than the original demon-possessed ones ^-^

The deal with Jeanne being a superhero and all is that in a past life, she was Joan of Arc. This has a very Christian-ish theme, and stuff...wow, that was a very coherent summary....

In the 30th Century, the Earth has united as one country: Earth. ^_^. And the princess of this country is Suomi Kyoko. She has a younger twin sister, Ui, who has been asleep ever since she was born. Around her sixteenth birthday, Kyoko has to finally show herself to her people as their princess. Kyoko objects to this because she had been living among the people as a commoner and she doesn稚 want to be the princess anyway, but trouble faces her school, and to save her friends, she has to step forward and reveal her identity.

That was disappointing for her, but now she has a new quest: to find a way to wake up her sister so she can be granted her freedom from ruling the Earth. She is chosen by a staff (its proper name is "Time Scorpion Cane", but Kyoko calls it "Tsue-chon"・omething along the lines of "Caney" ^_^ to be "Time Stranger Kyoko". When she manipulates "Tsue-chon", she can stop time, or go back in time, etc. If she finds her other twelve comrades with their twelve stones, they can all wake up Ui・br>
As a side note, there is a new kind of human in this age, called a "Kirit". This means a human whose genes have been mixed with some other species. Some examples are the Jin-brothers, who are part-dragon, and Karen, who is part-flower. ^-^
