In the beginning God created the heaven, and earth. The earth was void and empty. God said: Let there be light, and there was light. God brought forward the green herb and sculpted giant mountains from the rock and gravel. By the seventh day God had divided the light from the dark and the water from the earth. God had given, and created life. His work was almost complete. On the eight day God decided the earth was too calm, too tranquil. So he stood on the highest cusp of the world and bellowed with all his might, piercing the ceiling of heaven: Let there be rock, and there was silence. This omission angered God. Every morning he would stare out at the world angry and upset with his inadequate creation. God ponders to himself: it will never thoroughly be great without the air being thick with feedback, without the early morning call of a 'd' tuned power chord, without the deafening sound of a distorted, squealing, six minute, six stringed solo and ultimately, without Rock'n'Roll. For Millenniums God tried, and failed to create rock, and just when he was on the brink of self destruction he heard something coming from beneath him. God parted the clouds and gazed down at his creation. He saw men and women whaling out glorious rock songs in front of thousands of adoring fans. Amplifiers crackling and Drums banging, God had seen enough, how did these mere mortals harness the power of rock. Every note, every cheer, every mosh pit created only added to the pain. How dare these mortals mock the Almighty Without hesitation God began to strike down every mortal who attained a God like status. As the years past he would vanquish these singer song writers in there prime, but this would make them more popular, more unattainable, more God like. The Angry God decided to create a band for the Gods, forged out of the ashes of great mortals. So without habituation He created 'The Guilt' God of the voice, 'The Blade' God of six strings, 'The Butcher' God of the Bass and 'The Chenz' God of the Drum. He named them 'Minion'. The heavens opened and God knelt before them. The Guilt opened his eyes, inched towards the microphone and uttered the almighty words: Let there be rock, AND THERE WAS ROCK.
