- I don't know how it happened, but I woke up and I'm old. Yesterday I was mother to two youngsters, worked at the University of California, and had a marriage I thought would last forever. Today, I'm retired, and those two youngsters have turned into men with wives. From one union, I have a grandson who is the light of my life. Spencer! And that marriage I thought would last forever ended after thirty-two years. The good news is that I found another wonderful man and we've been married for ten, and now I have two handsome step sons. Life should have come with a handbook, but since it didn't, I tried to warn women approaching mid-life and beyond about the hazards. - Music
- My favorite all time performer, Luther Vandross, passed last year, but anything by him and I'm listening. I just discovered a great blues performer by the name of Walter Trout. Check him out.
- Films
- I prefer romantic movies that bring back memories of my dating days and resurrect my tummy butterflies. Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally...those are the kind I love.
- Sports
- I could give a rat's ass about sports. IF you ask me, anyone who makes more in a season than hard working American's make in a year, sucks!
- Scared Of
- A long, lingering death, disease, and any kind of bug.
- Happiest When
- I'm with my grandson, Spencer! He is the light of my life.
