- We are the Youth Centre next to the Ford Garage on Station Road East in Oxted.
Babysitting, DJ Skills, Dance, Football and Music Skills are £10 and with them you can get an accredited certificate and work towards getting a Youth Achievement Award which is equivalent to a GCSE at a-d!!!
From September:
Mondays : 3.30-5.30pm : Health Drop-in
Tuesdays : 3.30-6.30pm : Drop-in (£1) STILL TO COME WHEN WE GET MORE STAFF!

- Music £10
- We have decks with a cd turntable, lots of instruments and coming soon, a music dedicated laptop, get yourself heard on the net on our own website. Produce your own music CD with DJ Mark
- Dance £10
- Learn all about different styles of dance including (and yes we have relented!) Streetdance as well as contempory. Visits to Pinapple Studios and dance shows as well
- Football £10
- Football skills with James who will make you work hard! Come and join our teams to go through rigorous training and get geared up to play some matches
- Babysitting £10
- Get a Red Cross qualification and a Surrey Youth Development certificate. Learn all the basics of looking after a tiddlypeep including emergency first aid. This course is only done if we get a group of 6!
- Art & Graffiti £1 a session

Well, this could be your chance. We’ve teamed up with Penguin books to invite bebo-ers to make like directors and submit two-minute films of what being human means to them. What makes you human? Is it your friends? Do you think, therefore you are? Do you have a soul? Robert, hero of award-winning author Kevin Brooks’ disturbing and compelling book Being never thought about it either. Until he woke up on the operating table, and heard the doctors saying they had no idea what he is. But they did know what he isn’t. And that’s human.
The top ten entries will be showcased on bebo website, and the creator of the best entry will win £500-worth of Penguin books, and, if they're over 18, a money-can’t-buy work experience placement at the publishers, or if under 18 a visit from Kevin to their school/college.

I find it funny that people can be so extremely gutless.
To call a youth worker a 'cunt' and 'slag' is pretty low but then again I am afraid I left all that nonsense behind in nursery school.

Vanessa Worrall77 settimane faMy name is vanessa, I'm a youth worker from Gloucester and i run a youth centre. Just thought I would leave a comment to say it looks like there is some great work going on in Harrys Youth Club.
In Gloucester the youth service are tryin to close a lot of youth centres in favour of detatched workers - but there is a lot to be valued in having a safe centre for young people to come to and call their own - your young people obviously value you.
Anyway - good luck with all future ventures -
