Ja, o mnie i jeszcze raz ja
I'm a retired ski instructor training to be a cognitive behavioural therapist, and am a long time Dj/willing slave to the local music biz in Dublin, where I was born and bred.
I have one small son who makes me run around a lot and asks me many many questions about many many things as 2 year olds do.

I run GigEvent and Irie Ireland with my partner Shimmy which results in much hilarity...
GigEvent is a multi-genre music promotion company putting on live showcase gigs and providing contract entertainment.

Irie Ireland is dedicated to promoting Reggae Music in all it's forms (Roots, Dub, Dancehall & Ska), along with producing a monthly video webcast for local media podcasting outlet Sweet Sounding Media.

Also in production for Sweet Sounding Media is a series focusing on the Dublin comedy scene called "Happy Happy". Both series are due to start broadcasting in April on www.sweetsoundingmedia.com and will be available for viewing through Facebook, Bebo, MySpace etc.

    Hey all,
    just to let you know we are back in action.
    Showcase gigs are kicking off again at the Mezz (Dublin) on Sundays so let us know if you're interested in a slot. It'll be free in for your adoring public.
    Video podcasts a plenty on the way, with the weekly showcases going out with short band interviews attached. Our reggae offshoot Irie Ireland will be pumping out a monthly magazine special with feature themes, and there's also gonna be a comedy series too. All the above are being produced for brand new media company Sweet Sounding Media, with the episodes going out via MySpace, Facebook & Bebo on top of the home site (www.sweetsoundingmedia.com)
    The GigEvent & Irie Ireland soundsystem is being stripped and tarted up for the summer and new backline is arriving so it's a busy time!
    F**k the recession we are gonna have a good time!

  • Spring Clean

    Just been tidying up around here, the gaff was in bits...mind u I hadn't logged in for months. New "Irie Ireland" skin, (use it if yer arsed!) and puttin' an "Irie Ireland" group into action in time for the webcast launch next month.
    Been off work for too long guys...
