Plug.
Last week i went to the form centre to get myself a strecher for my ear (18mm) but i was having trouble sleeping on it so, i went back the other day and asked the small wrinkle woman behind the counter if she had a plug to fit my ear.
She began looking and i pointed out the 18mm without having to look to hard. She picked it out and just to be sure i had brought my own 18mm so i was sure that they were the right size as sometimes they are all mixed up on the counter. She looked at them both and told me i was wrong and continued looking. Eventually she pulled out what she thought was an 18mm and went on about how she had an eye for the size as she had been selling them for a while.
I was unconvinced.
When she had bagged it up and turned her back to get my changed a measured the two together to put my mind to rest and do you know i was right. She had bagged up a 16mm after measuring it against mine. I politely but firmly told her she was wrong and would like her to give me the one i wanted before.
She continued to say i was wrong but if i wanted the plug it was up to me but still demanded that it was to big and i wasn't correct. I told her again that she was wrong and took the "bigger" plug while telling her i could put her out of a job. She laughed and said this would never happen.
Anyway got out side and low and behold it was the right size.
I know this isnt an important issue but for fuck sake i new it was the worng size and shes telling me shes got an eye for them. If im paying cash i want to check.

Do you know?
Adam and I were enjoying our time watching mindless programmes about the police forces of this country catching the bad men and chasing the odd drug dealer but I can’t believe that we (the audience) avoid the real matter at hand, that this country will pay out 3.9 million pounds this year to run this “operation” but we don’t take note that displayed on these programs are handfuls of extra un-needed police officers busting in to a flat with two middle aged women.

To me this is mindless power tripping by the police and should be stopped. Perhaps if they tried to infiltrate the trafficed drugs before it got to the unfortunate addict then they wouldn’t have as much spare cash to set up over extravagant missions in to the deadly heart of tweedle-shire.
