Just a poem Stickin up for the forgotton people during the American Civil War. Up the Confederacy. Up the South.
The Bugler sounded the charge.
We marched from out of the trees,
across the open field into the ring of hell.
The Cannon Fire Behind us,
The Cannon Fire Ahead
The Shots ran out,
My Brothers Shooting at my brothers,
Was The war of Independance forgotten to them
Left and Right, Front and back, The Men fell
as our Dream came crashing down that day at the round hills.
I dressed in Grey, My Brother Dressed in Grey next to me.
Our brothers Dressed in blue in front.
We Marched forth into hell.
Over the fence,in the centre of the entrance to hell
all the way to the little round top
They Shot From Above, we shot from below.
They Hit us hard,
We kept on coming, Flanking firing Dying
The smoke of gunfire rose over the field of battle.
Days Went by as we kept fighting
we kept dying
our cannon fire out of range to support our attack.
We lost our dream on that day,
on that small hill.
it took 2 more years,
Hundreds more lives, for them to agree
we lost the battles we lost the war.
But we will never lose faith, we will never Forget
