Still have all the majorly constructed prortion of the site kept on a laptop hard drive but unfortunately that laptop is fucked, the bank account being used to pay the site got changed and wasn't updates so everything on FTP was lost, which was pretty wank considering there was a lot of photos of fit girls from parties in compromising situations tantamount to softcore porn etc. etc. but more importantly the sites design was on there and not on my PC at home (I did most of it in Houston). Also realised I was biting off a lot more than could be chewed when incorportating video productions to the same degree and made the decision that we should be in support of nightlife and entertainment first and foremost as per usual with everything else as a sideline.

Putting that laptop in to be fixed, and in the meantime amassing quanities of video and interview with fresh DJ's as well as a written synopsis of all of Scotlands clubs and the most esteemed nights amongst them.

Music artist section complete so that I don't have to ever go back in and update the fucker manually. Just mastered the MySQL side of things so that I can use a database to just add artists on the sly as they come to attention.
The overall concept of what the site will be is much more focused these days to - taking time to promote artists on the very underground who have a little spark thats more apparent than you're run of the mill productions - from all aspects of low key the art world for some real no-bullshit work from those who do it purely for the love & lulz, the way it always should have been. As well as keeping an eye on the sub-subcultures that are worth a note no mater how breif their passing might be, keeping the same old passion for every hush-hush first step of each underground artisan's quest.

Also got the next TA event happening on the 21st of November in the first room of the Tunnels - purely electronica on this little venture (as ill be down in Edinburgh till just before it and need everything set up fast). With some of our pioneering producers up in Aberdeen (hence the name) who are gonna be blasting some homebaked originals alongside the traditional favourite hickory smoked beats of dubstep, techno, dnb and hardcore. All for 3 shiny units of gold that are legal pound sterling tender. Looking forward to it immensely and personally been reloading my ammo of liquid and jump up vinyl for the occasion.

Twisted Arcade 5th Anniversary went along soundly with prime appearance from all the prime members and from those who kept it bouncing out at the '06.
Unfortunately Mr. Alex Brownlee was unable to perform due to losing his voice and not having the rest of ABC (merely the A), as well as Giles Walker being unable to make the new schedule for the Needledick set (with Kimy Reizeger stepping in for mad synth input) but each act lived up to their standards and beyond that of what they've all showcased online. A smart, crisp set to open from Kimy Reizeger, moodsetting funk / dub from the Dubs Anonymous ensemble, masterful improv by the one-off Needledick collab, ceremonial homebrewed classics and intensely fine-tuned covers from our beloved ol'skoo' Emex and the successful mixing I'd hoped to showcase of each and every DnB track that's been fucking my ears over the past few months crammed into the final 40 minutes!

Glad to mingle with the esteemed guests and the fresh homeboy's alike in preperation for a whole new set of milestones in the Twisted Arcade history ^_^
The actual objective having been nicely achieved too with enough money raised for a SHOUTcast server on which to host the new online radio for all of la musique promoted by the site - as well as comedy banter and interviews with characters of interest that we happen to cross paths with. The resurgence of the forum also being a key part in what will be a big task to overhaul the site between the 12th when I bail to Houston and the 20th when I return home for uni.
