Cat Squire Music is an entertainments company founded by Stuart Naismith.
Throughout his time operating in the music industry Stuart has been an events manager, international tour manager, composer and performer. He has also operated as a stage manager, artist manager, song-writing tutor, booking agent, head of finances, press relations, promotion, human resources, sound tech, photography, camera crew, youth council consultancy and compéring. He has had his original compositions played exclusively in Braehead and has worked with acts including the MacDonald Brothers, Keith Jack, Karen Danzig, Attic Lights and Mr D.

Resignation
It is with regret that I write this blog informing anyone who was interested in EYCStudio, or my involvement in the studio, that I have resigned from my position and, after 9pm tonight, will no longer be working at the studio.
All of my reasons have been delivered to the Erskine Youth Council and my resignation has been accepted. I will not write here what my reasons were, as that matter is between myself and EYC, but suffice to say I could not continue to work in an environment where I felt greatly undervalued as an employee.
That's just the way of the world, though. Thank you to anyone who came along to use the studio while I was working there.

A FACT Of Life
This weekend I am heading out to Ivory Blacks, Glasgow, to see an emerging Japanese rock band, FACT!
Having just released their debut English album in the UK, and coming off the back of a tour in the US, FACT are ready to bring their high-octane rock to the West.
I have been taken on by BEATZ UK, a brand new music magazine bringing the best in Asian rock and metal to the UK, with interviews, live reviews, album reviews, translations and more. As such, I will be writing a review of the show for the magazine
Not only that; I'll be writing a review of their great debut album for the magazine.
Not only that; I received confirmation yesterday that will be receiving early access to the venue and have been granted an interview with the band to discuss love, life and rock & roll.
