well ths blog is for mister eoghain fitzgerald aka Dj fitz on Spin southwest. he reckons we should write a blog about each other (if he didn't have a girlfriend i'd think he's queer!! but ssshhh don't tell him! ) i met eoghain in 5th year in school, i was wearing a subaru jacket and he was wearing a jordan F1 jacket and we got taklin about cars! about 2 months later we went to spain together where eoghain suffered a bad dose of holidayitis! ( think of a typical mans problem when he wakes up, what gets up beore him??) he seems to suffer badly in the heat and as he was sleeping under a sheet it didn't leave to much to the imagination!!! it was some craic over ther (bar me breakin my nose on a jet ski!! lol. any way myself and fitz ended best friends and went to the same college back home in limerick. we had many a drunken night/day in college back home and some very interesting stories could be told! The summer after our first year in college myself, eoghain, doyle, jimmy and james ahern went for a week away in a mobile home we got a loan of. that week was mental, i had originally only agreed to go for one night (saturday) as i had work monday but i ended up stayin for a week and nearly got fired!! eoghain had invited down a couple of his female friends ( marian, sarah and sharon) and lets just say many entertaining, sometimes cringeworthy stories came out of the experience ( mainly involving me, one of the girls, no names given, a bottle of whiskey, the beach, the mobile home floor and a rather entertaining day afterwards although it wasn't too funny at the time!!!) to this day i still get grief over that week! myself n fitz had a great laugh that week and try to do it as much as possible now (not very easy considering i'm in wales!) we seemed to spend most of last summer together getting drunk with doyle,dundon and roisin too (thanks for the beds ro ) i came up with a concoction of a drink one night and dundon aptly named it the fitzer spritzer lemon twister and my god i'll challenge anyone to drink one and stay reasonably sober!! i remember sittin in college one mornin with eoghain about 9 o clock when we suddenly got the brain wave to drive to doyles college house which was in cork city ( an hour or so away!) and get drunk. we ended up stayin for a week and that week cost me nearly a grand!!!! Now that i'm in wales and eoghain is a big time 'Famous' Dj i only get to see him every now and then but when we do we have some laugh. if ya want to listen to this famous dj go to spinsouthwest.com and have a listen. all and all he's a great bloke and a bollix too!!!!! ther ya go fitz
