I write sensual cross-genre fantasy romance... Celtic legend turned inside out and refashioned into time-travel romance. I've been a member of RWA for 4 years. I'm formally educated in geology and anthropology (bioarchaeology). My anthropological interests lay in cultural ecology, evolution, & relativism. Jennifer Roberson"s THE LADY OF THE GLEN is my favorite romance. Lillian Beckwith. I stumbled across Charles Stross and his cyberpunk ATROCITY ARCHIVES last year. It"s uncanny how some ideas can be so similar to those we develop for our own story worlds... But I don"t write cyperpunk. Paradise Lost, Njal"s Saga, Niebelungenlied, Song of Roland, The Faerie Queene, anything by Ben Jonson like Volpone. Check out romance authors Sherrilyn Kenyon, Laurell K. Hamilton, Karen Marie Moning, Deidre Knight... My favorite hero is in Christine Feehan"s MIND GAMES.
