God's Wife
God ' s Wife
LOOK OUT FOR THE LAST STORY....
IT WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF
Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once
talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the
contest was to find the most caring child.
The winner was:
A four-year-old child, whose next door
neighbor was an elderly gentleman, who had recently lost his
wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy wen t into the old
gentleman 's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his mother asked him what he had
said to the neighbor, the little boy just said, ' Nothing, I just
helped him cry. '
**********************************
***********
Teacher Debbie Moon ' s first graders were
discussing a picture of a family. One little boy in the picture
had a different hair color than the other members. One of her
students suggested that he was adopted.
A little girl said, ' I know all about
adoption, I was adopted.. '
' What does it mean to be adopted? ' , asked
another child.
' It means ' , said the girl, ' that you grew
in your mommy ' s heart instead of her tummy! '
**********************************
***********
On my way home one day, I stopped to
watch a Little League baseball game that was being played in a
park near my home. As I sat down behind the bench on the first-
base line, I asked one of the boys what the score was
' We ' re behind 14 to nothing, ' he answered
with a smile.
' Really, ' I said. ' I have to say you
don ' t look very discouraged. '
' Discouraged? ' , the boy asked with a
puzzled look on his face...
' Why should we be discouraged? We haven ' t
been up to bat yet. '
********* ***************** *******************
Whenever I ' m disappointed with my spot
in life, I stop and think about little Jamie Scott.
Jamie was trying out for a part in the
school play. His mother told me that he ' d set his heart on being
in it, though she feared he would not be chosen.
On the day the parts were awarded, I went
with her to collect him after school. Jamie rushed up to her,
eyes shining with pride and excitement. ' Guess what, Mom, ' he
shouted, and then said those words that will remain a lesson to
me..... ' I ' ve been chosen to clap and cheer. '

An eye witness account from New York
City , on a cold day in December,
some years ago: A little boy,
about 10-years-old, was standing before a shoe store on the
roadway, barefooted, peering through the window, and shivering
with cold.
A lady approached the young boy and said,
' My, but you ' re in such deep thought staring in that window! '
' I was asking God to give me a pair of
shoes, ' was the boy ' s reply.
The lady took him by the hand, went into
the store, and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pair of socks
for the boy. She then asked if he could give her a basin of water
and a towel. He quickly brought them to her.
She took the little fellow to the back
part of the store and, removing her gloves, knelt down, washed
his little feet, and dried them with the towel.20
By this time, the clerk had returned with
the socks. Placing a pair upon the boy ' s feet, she purchased him
a pair of shoes.
She tied up the remaining pairs of socks
and gave them to him.. She patted him on the head and said, ' No
doubt, you will be more comfortable now. '
As she turned to go, the astonished kid
caught her by the hand, and looking up in to her face, with tears
in his eyes, asked her.
' Are you God ' s wife? '

MY personal Opinion of Barack Obama
This was inspired by an e-mail a friend sent me...These are MY opinions. Agree if you like, Disagree if you want, but these are MINE!!!!!!!!
A Marine stationed in Afghanastan had the chance to view Senator Obama on his trip to the WAR ZONE!
As he got off the plane, he was rushed to the base/camp and introduced to the 2 star General commanding the base. As he passed through the crowd of Marines gathered to shake his hand, he passed them by without a word or comment. OKAY, MAYBE HE FEARED FOR HIS LIFE.
After his meeting with the General, he went to the rec center and played basketball for a camera oportunity. AH ISN'T THAT FUN!
After the game and off camera, the Good Senator still didn't find it necessary to talk with or thank the service men and women. THIS PISSES ME OFF. I AM A FORMER MILITARY WOMAN MYSELF. I DIDN'T SEE WARTIME, BUT EVERYDAY, I STAND BEHIND MY TROOPS...MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS.
Now that I'm calm, I thank the Marine's wife that shared this with me. Thanks Tiffany.
If we put more light on Senator Obama's behind the scene activities, we could get a better understanding of the man.
As it stands, people view him as the "Messiah for American politics" The savior of the world.
1. He admits to being a member of the Trinity church, but he isn't an active memeber and disassociates himself from the pastor. INTERESTING.
2. He claims to be an American, yet he doesn't pledge allegience to the flag claiming he wont to a symbol. America is about people. HUMMMM! People living iwth symbolic views of faith, honor, and pride. The flag, the cross, and trophies or medals. Try taking a gold medal from an Olympic athlete...I dare you.
3. There are pictures and documentation that he is connected to a Muslim sect..But he excuses it as his father's choice of religion. HUMMM! I can understand that. I mean after all, tha twas along time ago. BUT You are a grown man now. IDIOT
But what killed his chances for me to overlook his excuses and eviedence of such...his wife Michelle.
She was ashamed to be an American until they elected her husband to be the Presidential Nominee...Now she can stand tall...
Well bend over Michelle. Politics has very interesting bedfellows. And they are going to love sticking it to you.
In my opinion, there is only one Messiah. Jesus Christ. When he returns, we willl have NO DOUBT in our hearts or mind that he is the true Savior of the world.
I sincerely have my doubts about Barack Obama. He maybe dark faced, but he doesn't strike me as the Messiah. He's only a man, not a god.

WINTERS AND SOMERS
Irish set romantic suspense, Winters & Somers, from Red Rose Publishing http://www.redrosep ublishing. com:
Irish PI CÃara Somers makes a good living testing the 'temptability quotient' of men for their insecure lovers… but when NY homicide cop and author of red hot romances, Jonathon Winters, makes her take him on as a partner in her Dublin agency, he gets the wrong message from her raunchy style..…especially when he wants her for himself.
Somers isn’t the type to let a man push her around – the incorrigible Grannie Somers raised her to be her own woman. But when she discovers that even Grannie drools over Winters, she can’t help but wonder what it would be like to indulge in one of the fantasies that have millions of women reading his romantic books.
And when Somers finally gets her first real case – to capture the notorious jewel thief dubbed The Diamond Darling – she has to survive the help of her weird relatives, the landlady from hell, two stoned friends, a stray dog – and Winters himself…
