MAGGA took his insperation from listening to judge jules's radio 1 shows on fri's and sat's (tried and tested) at the start of the millenium and bought his first decks at the age of 18 spending a couple of years locked in his room mixing his tits off till he gained the confidence to show people what he could do. After doing some low key sets in bars in kilmarnock he became one of the residents at Ice nightclub. Playing the peak time set for clublands eyeopener on the opening night. After that he gained a weekly set playing scouse house and commercial trance meeting and playin with some of the uk's top dance acts such as ultrabeat(aatw), mark sherry (public domain,detox), ultra sonic, N-trance(aatw), flip n fill (aatw) and many more.

    • Tiësto First DJ ever to hold his own concert in a UK arena

      Tiësto added another first timer to his career. Last Friday, Tiësto wrote history in the UK by being the first ever DJ to perform within the unique complex of the famous 02 Arena in London as part of his In Search of Sunrise 7 summer tour.

      The sold out O2 Arena, with its capacity of 20.000 people one of the largest indoor arenas in Europe, hosted an enthusiastic crowd that saw the true nature of a 5 hour live set in the style of Tiësto and experienced a full-on production with a 200.000 watts sound system, supported by a huge 200 m2 LED wall, over 300.000 watts of state of the art lighting and the latest new design in video-effects.

      Earlier that day, Tiësto performed an in-store at Armani Exchange on Regent Street in central London.

      We captured the experiences of Tiësto's visit to London and his performance at the O2 Arena in a short video that is now available online.
