- Pearl Milk Tea, also know as Bubble Tea is a tea beverage that originated in Taiwan in the 1980s. The term "bubble" refers to the tapioca balls in the drink. These chewy tapioca balls, or "pearls," are consumed along with the beverage through a wide straw.
Since the whole Pearl Milk Tea craze is leeking its way into western culture, even here in the heart of NZ i present to you this band where people can come hang out and share all the yummy moments they have had!
Enjoy~~

EASY WAY!!!

hey everyone. Posting from Sydney1 Reply 226 weeks
I'm staying at Wollongong atm which is a 2 hour drive from sydney; Anyways, just giving everyone a heads up on the sydney scene for teahouses.
In chinatown alone, saw about 3 easy way teahouses and another 3 privately owned ones. In paddy's market, which is just a walk away from chinatown saw another easy way stand and another privately owned.
However, on George St; the equivalent to our Queen St, only like 20kms bigger o___o or something like that; we passed a total 11 teahouses, with at least 7 or 8 easy way teahouses.
Their pricing was pretty good; most of their standard size drinks were $4.50 as the highest Linda had to pay for. Basically $4 ~ $4.50ish drinks. So to say; even a pudding drink costs under $5 which is damn good ^_^
Bad thing though, was that Linda complained that quite a few teahouses served really really chewy Tapiocas, or sometimes, way too sweet flavoured teas )= they have got a wider flavour range though and most of them served food as well. I didn't care though; Linda was making stops at each teahouse, not me
Linda and I have yet to finish going around the whole of the Sydney CBD and enjoying the 33+ outside temperatures, not D:
But one thing is about the teahouses is that there are a shit load of them; o___o you'll still need a GPS to get around the CBD because of all the tall buildings and shopping plazas/centres. -

I've tried strawberry before. Let's just say I became flippin' addicting to bubble tea. It's really a shame that coming from a small town I cannot find the tea here. It's sad. T^T I love yous, bubbley tea! XD
