Joining the cast of The Bill season are two new characters: DC Jacob Banks played by Patrick Robinson and DC Mel Ryder played by Rhea Bailey (sister of songstress Corinne).

“I’m totally thrilled to join The Bill which is such a successful drama,” Patrick enthused. “The team are all great and after spending the last nine years performing in theatre, it’s wonderful to be back on the box and get stuck into an interesting long-term character, with a story to tell.”

Rhea’s character is the no-nonsense type. What you see is what you get. With DC Ryder you’ll always get an honest answer.
