- To put it simply, I'm Corr. Its what I'm known as to many, probably for all the wrong reasons. To everyone else the name is Stephen or Steve. I'm from Limerick City, no I'm not that dangerous or anything else stupid like that. I am 20 but I have a pension and apparently I'm the old man.
I love rugby and I am a die hard Young Munsters fan. Munster are good to I suppose.
I'm the problem solver apparently but I will say its tiring after a while. Other than that I've some great friends they know who they are so I won't say anymore. If you want to know more just ask them.
Physically impossible, morally wrong!

Oxegen 2008
Dont really know if I can compare this years festival to that of 2006, but this year was still a class event.
First of all I'll get the top 10 out of the way. Some Class acts unfortunate not to make it but the ones that did fully deserved it
1. R.E.M - worth price of admission alone, du du du du ....... Nobody has ever sung along to the mandolin part before
2. Newton Faulkner - tough call on no3 but the mans ability to hold an entire crowd on his own was incredible, his covers were amazing and he had a decent sense of humour "this is a great place to be ginger"
3. Bell X1 - Everytime I see them im impressed, amazing show, they played Boys Of Summer and the Whoa-oh for the encore was brilliant.
4. Flogging Molly - What a uniquely Irish experience, fantastic. New Band Tent was packed, brilliant.
5. The Script - Still dont believe they are from Dublin but this band had a decent crowd in the new band tent and are going places fast. Finishing with David Bowies "heroes" was a fantastic end to a fantastic set.
6. The Feeling - Brilliant from start to finish, "Video killed the radio star" and "take me on " were excellent additions to their own fantastic work. Great Show.
7. Alabama 3 - Woke Up This Morning was like their 5th best song, great set.
8. Stereophonics - Great show from start to finish, some great sing alongs to boot
9. Amy MacDonald - Great performance from the Scottish lass, This is the life was brilliant and her cover of The Killers "when we were young" was also good.
10. The Verve - Put on a good show despite the negativity from those around me, "Lucky Man " was great.
As always I had the misfortune of suffering a bad act or two and here they are :
1. Amy Winehouse - She was shocking, could barely stand, constantly forgot lyrics and mumbled more, drinking on stage, made reference to that twat of a hubby of hers it was poor at best and why the crowd were eating it up for i dont know.
2. Kate Nash - Only caught the last 4 songs but awful she was too quiet, her sitting down didnt endear the crowd and there was no atmosphere at all.
3. Counting Crows - they did nothing for me, too many new songs and butchered Ms.Jones, very disappointed.
As always there are comical moments at these weekends, here are just a few of them.
Chogi : Last card. Me : change it he has spades. Chogi : How can you see?. Me : your card is seethrough you jackass.
Pa constantly pushing Chogi.
Bronagh: hey Pa, can i see your thingy? Chogi : Thats what hes been wanting to hear.
Caitriona: hey Steve, can iv some more of your mayonaise? Pa And Me erupt with laughter, Caitriona : eeew! Chogi : What?
Ok the following all came from Caitriona finding a phone beside her tent.
hank. what kind of name is hank?
ah boys shes cheating on hank with eddie.
Becki rings off Eddies phone - numerous jokes in dodgy Limerick accents, careful bitch or we'll burn out your fone. welcome to da ross kiid, Lads i bet shes pure haunty
then we read the texts, the messages in sent items read as follows:
"Dont Shave your pink bits" Me: I told ye she was haunty
"Lets do it in a portaloo", classy beour this one. Pa dont be getting any ideas
"Excrement, i'm really excited" - all of us eeeeuuw.
The stare dance,
Pa to Caitriona:" Sorry", Me: " Dont worry Pa it happens to lots of guys."
Jumanji!!!
Me: Which kid should i steal?, Chogi : that one he looks like he'd be ok with it
Click, back away
Stewie and all his shenanigans, who does shots at 6.55 in the morning honestly?
The Cavan lads, "come on we'll christen the hiace".
"Pa, I think we are the oldest people here."
I'm old enough to be their dad, and theirs. ah corr, no wait its actually possible for them.
Newton Faulkner : before i became famous i used to write more tradtional songs "i am slightly depressed.. you know what its like "
Wino - "this ones for Blakey ya", Pa :" Do it Corr", Chogi: "throw your wellie at her" "E0 comentarios 497 días

08 hopes
hello, id planned to do this for ages but im lazy and didnt and now killian beat me to it, awell what can you do. The following are (as stated above)my hopes for 2008.
Personally:
I plan to enjoy my free time as much as i can.
Meet up with the lads properly and just hang out.
Work for the summer again make enough money so i dont have to work in 2nd yr
Pass My Driving Test! (oh wait i did, nice
)
Go on a roadtrip or holiday with the lads.
Get Fit.
Sport:
- Young Munster to get what they deserve and earn promotion to Division One and the inevitable return of the club game. Of course with the occasional session along the way and for Myself and Killian to be there when it happens.
- Munster to win the Heineken Cup and for the retiring players like Axel and Payne to get what they deserve. And hopefully the influx of some new blood for the new season.
- Eddie O Sullivan to walk away doing the honourable thing and apologizing for years of wasted talent and opportunities.
- Glenn Whelan to start in midfield in Trappatonis revolution of the green jersey.
- Kevin Doyle to return to centre forward to keep Reading up and to climb to great heights next season.
- Cardiff to win the FA Cup.
- Manchester United vs Arsenal in C.L Final with a good match just so Alex can get number 2 at Arsenes expense. Or against Liverpool so we can shut ye up
- Limerick to win something the so the county will unite again, was great to see last year.
Music:
- To enjoy Eric Clapton, Oxegen and get to the front row of Bryan Adams when he announces his concerts for later this year.
- To hopefully see Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and many more
- Dire Straits to start touring again
- The Death of Soulja Boy,Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and the majority of crap djs and rappers and their careers. (No its not harsh!)
TV:
- For Abrahams to end Lost early because its getting annoying and i just want to know the bloody ending. Also, for him not to ruin the ending as he has done with so many other things.
- For Prison Break to end well.
- For JD and Elliott not to end up together in Scrubs.
- The End of Big Brother and all its related rubbish.
- The end of stupid reality tv shows.
- The return of proper cartoons, kids today are told what to think and do and have no imagination. (Actually its the same with toys. Make kids play with something thats less complicated than women eg Lego)
Politics:
- To steal from Killian " An end to all this tribunal nonsense. Let's just draw a line under it and get back to running the country."
- Obama to win Democratic and Presidential Race.
- Should above happen - For him not to be assassinated by the CIA.
- For the P.Ds to approach Frank to represent them again, for him to turn them down and then watch their demise
- Enda to fuck off and stop resorting to petty tactics
- For a resolution to the Irelands Call Fiasco, say what you want its politics
- For half the commitees in the I.R.F.U and F.A.I to step down and stop interfering.
College:
- To Pass as many subjects as possible before taking final exams (Currently 2)
- To hopefully get some useful knowledge i can use at work
- To get a good recommendation for a placement in 3rd yr
- For all my friends to pass the year
- For a proper Civils vs QSs in soccer on a thursday
Hopefully most of it will happen if not il make the best of it. best wishes1 comentario 619 días
