- Dead Heroes Club New Album 'A Time of Shadow' set for release 15th June 2009
- Me, Myself, and I
- Chin chin...why it's you, I must say I'm delighted that you've dropped by. Do come in and have a look around. Let me take your coat...I'll have a fire made ready for you in the Great Hall at once...
- Me, myself and I
- I'm the vocalist with Ireland's only progressive rock band "DEAD HEROES CLUB" The band's new album 'A Time of Shadow' is due out in the coming winter... visit the DEAD HEROES CLUB page...click on the DEAD HEROES CLUB Logo in ;Bands'section below...
I have released a solo album called 'On the Streets of the Underground'. Details about and tracks from the album are also available at the DEAD HEROES CLUB page. Recently I made the pilgrimage to Graceland. I also gave a talk at the ASLE conference in South Carolina on J.R.R.Tolkien and played a gig at the Marriott there! - What Else Do I Do?
- I love reading and writing and I'm very excited to have a full length play in production read the blog for more info). I also like J.R.R. Tolkien and am writing a thesis on his collected works at the moment for a PhD with the University of Ulster. I find that with most of my creative writing the my characters are not in the mood to be part of their own stories...ah well!
- Literary Matters
- Tolkien, Beckett, Joyce, Wilfred Owen
Plus a host of others - I consider myself to be...
- Looking inwards for a way out...and reasonably sober at the moment!

Liam's debut play 'The Harbinger' shortlisted for best new play by an Irish Writer
Liam Campbell’s debut full-length play ‘The Harbinger’ has been shortlisted by the 'Irish Playwrights and Screenwriters Guild' for best new play script by an Irish author. The play was staged in the Playhouse theatre in Derry between 5th and 7th of June 08. The play could best be described as an existential mystery thriller, which, with a comic twist, examines madness, mayhem, mistrust and the nature of reality. The Harbinger’, over its three-night run attracted very good crowds with the opening night completely sold out. The play was very well received among audiences and critics alike and this nomination and short-listing by The IPSG is testimony to that.
