- I'm an author working in several different genres -- historical romance, suspense-thrillers, erotic romance (under the name Elle Emriche) and more. My novel, Pedestals won the Eppie 2006 for best action thriller and another of my books, Jayna Incarnate, was a finalist in the mainstream fiction category.
If I had to describe myself . . . I’d say upbeat, highly imaginative, passionate, restless, easily bored, (sometimes) humorous, stubborn, spiritual and truly blessed.
I’m exceedingly proud of my daughters, Mackenzie (a junior at Salem College) and Allyson and Hayley, (juniors in high school.) They’re lovely and wacky and smart and basically my favorite people on earth.
