MK Chester is an author of historical romance, contemporary romance, and paranormal/urban fantasy. She has also published historical research, short non-fiction, and poetry. With four Vintage Roses published by The Wild Rose Press, she has switched gears to focus on a three-book urban fantasy series, and is indulging her interest in ancient history by writing a romance set in Rome. When not writing, Marty is a college administrator and history professor. She enjoys sports, the arts, and travel--and playing with her Scottie puppy, Stewie.

"Very few authors can suck me into a story so thoroughly or make me fall deeply in love with the hero, but Ms. Kindall has done it. There aren't enough words in the thesaurus to describe how wonderful an author Marty Kindall is. I've never been disappointed in a single thing she's written, and I don't believe I ever will."

Buckle your seat-belt. Grace McAfee Currie is on a mission--to make up for lost time, and lost love. Hoping to escape her controlling family and rekindle a romance all at the same time, she sets in motion a chain of events that spiral out of her control. • All in Good Time: Blurb & reviews

When Philadelphian Elizabeth Temple arrives in a small Southern town to teach first grade in 1948, she hopes to slide unnoticed into a spinster's existence, believing herself unfit for any companion. She doesn't count on falling for handsome Jake Ryan, a World War II veteran tainted by a scandalous divorce now struggling to raise his young son alone. Despite an undeniable chemistry, the road to romance is strewn with roadblocks and detours. Between the personal secret that has a devastating grip on Elizabeth, and Jake's temperamental, soon-to-be-ex-wife, what looks like a "sure thing" could easily slip away.

    Praise from Nights & Weekends:

Ms. Kindall has the knack for making all of her characters memorable. And the characters in All in Good Time are no exception. I’m sure I’ll remember Jake, Charlie, Elizabeth, and the gossipy old ladies at the McElroy Rooming House for a long time to come.

Captivating and full of heart, All in Good Time will take you back to the 1940s, when morals meant something—and you’ll come away feeling good about reading a book that’s so refreshing and clean. The story pulled me in deep, as all of Ms. Kindall’s novels do, and it didn’t let go. She creates characters that you want to spend time with—and after reading it, you’ll go back to revisit from time to time.

There aren’t enough words in a thesaurus to describe how wonderful an author Marty Kindall is. I’ve never been disappointed in a single thing she’s written, and I don’t believe I ever will.

4 1/2 hearts from The Romance Studio!

This book was very endearing and appealing to this reader that it was hard for me to stop reading. The storyline was poignant and I became emotionally involved with these people. Jake and Elizabeth had more problems which kept them apart than expected. That just made it more imperative that they work together to solve their situation.

I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. It covered the period right after World War II and gave accurate details. Ms. Kindall covered her bases and has written a very good book which you will be glad to have read.

Wow! This is a page turner - very hard if not impossible to put down. The blend of suspense, well drawn characters and a real sense of the period combine to make 'Bootlegger's Bride' a great read.
    ~Kara Lynn Russell

If you like to experience love of long ago, this book is for you. Ms. Kindall does a fantastic job of transporting the reader into the past. Her characters are true to their times as well. Great read. I highly recommend it.
    ~P. Strout

"At fifty-six pages, this book is the longest eBook I've read to date. Despite the trouble I have staring at the computer too long, one of the hardest things I've had to do in a long time was stop reading this in the middle and let my eyes recharge until the following day.

"It was that good. The hero, Aidan, is a well-rounded, tortured but fascinating hero and Grace is a strong woman and good match for him. Ms. Kindall's writing is smooth and interesting, full of vivid description that plops the reader smack dab into the story. I danced in a speak-easy, drove a car full of shine and attended a funeral. I was right there with Aidan and Grace."

    Five Hearts from TRS!

From the beginning, Ms. Marty Kindall had her 'work cut out for her.' Being the fourth in the series, the standards were so high that it would take an exceptional plot and characters to maintain the benchmark! I can assure you that Ms. Kindall was able to deliver the necessary criterion.

The characters are diversified and so believable that it is almost impossible to put this book down. The plot, while not completely new, is fresh and well written. The presentation of Aidan from a man headed for seminary to a man who bootlegs to have the necessary money to escape with Grace is awesomely portrayed!

Ms. Kindall has, indeed, maintained the high standards set by the previous authors of this series. When you read this, you will, as do I, anxiously await the next offering!

Four Angels from Fallen Angel Reviews:

Bootlegger's Bride is a tale with characters that stand out, show their weaknesses or strength and grabs hold of the reader. I wanted to jump into the pages and reach out to Aidan and Grace. I could hear their hearts screaming in pain to be together again and remove the barrier that stood between them. The freedom they sought to be away from their families and to be with each other could be felt by this reader. Marty Kindall creates a fantastic read that breathes life with each page. Her unique characters really make the story convincing and a complete joy to read. With the aftermath of the war, along with prohibition and bootlegging, not to mention the lengths that some politicians will go to, this tale spins with great creativity. This is my first story by Ms. Kindall, and it certainly won't be my last.
