Scared Of
CHUCKEY from Childs Play. I saw the lot of them....It made me sick...... yikes aggghhhhhh that doll. I HATE IT.....Walking, talking dolls do my nut in...I freak out at the sights of them.....the Sea (I'm working on that), drowning and stuff....
Happiest When
With the few special friends I have in my life (my ladies), walking Piper & on stage crowing my head off. But it's a brilliant way to keep a trim tummy!!!!
Irritated By
People who judge others and don't look in the mirror before judging those who may be just a little different.
Consider this. If your life is perfect, pass on your knowledge on how we all can achieve this perfection. Otherwise, "dun da gob" , take off the rose tinted glasses because everybody is entitled to be themselves! Also to add don't crap in my garden until you have cleared the crap in your own. Take a good long look at yourself before you open your gob to gossip about anyone else so you can make yourself feel a bit better. Sort your life out if it is not going to plan. :D

  • Cavan's Got Talent 3rd Round 27th March 09

    Hi Dee Hi Folks......

    Well the week leading to this heat was a strange one....A few weeks back I had to go to the Docs cause I had problems with my breathing.......On Mother's Day I got a fright when having dinner with my family, my breathing was very laboured. We tried to put two and two together and came to the conclusion Mum's guinea pigs were causing the "allergy". I do get a nasty rash from them if I handle them for any length of time. Once they were removed I was a little better.....Then......

    At 2am Monday morning I was landed in A&E, I stopped breathing........Yup, fright....A fear I never felt before overwhelmed me, if I didn't breathe I was well I won't explain the obvious!!!! It ended up that I was in hospital for 9 days. Poked, prodded, pricked, lung tests, CT scans, Xrays.......Yup the works were tested on me just to cover ever angle....I was told I woudn't be allowed out because of the high White Blood cell count in my blood which indicated an infection in my lungs.....

    I was soooo disappointed I couldn't take part but to be honest I was so weak and was just able to speak for approx 5 minutes before wearing myself out, I cleared it with the organisers and was told if I had a letter from the hospital that would be okay to miss the heat......I did just that and got back on my feet and discharged on Wednesday afternoon........

  • Cavan's Got Talent 2nd Round 20th March

    EY All.

    Well the 2nd heat was a blazing night. all 14 acts had rehearsals at the usual time of 6-8pm. Then we were hit by a bombshell. The organisers arranged to heat things up a little more, 2 acts were being eliminated each night for the forseeable future......Ummmmm we were shocked and as you can gather our nerves really kicked in......

    Of course I had to pick a tricky enough song "Chains" from the Aussie hottie Tina Arena. I was delighted to get an audience round of applause. I dressed down wearing jeans & string top, different from the last week (I wore a black floor length evening dress). I didn't want to showcase myself as a person that just can only sing Musicals.....I kinda wanted to put a little bit of "umph" into the competition without being "seedy"!!!!.....

    The judges were impressed after that but it was the audience that I had to impress, afterall the reality is I really rely on the "floating vote", from those who are there to mearly spectate & vote who they think are good . I do have a disadvantate as I am from outside Cavan Town its a little harder to round up support.......

    At the end of the night after all votes were collected 3 people who had the lowest votes were sent to the judging panel and they had to decide which two were leaving.......

    I was delighted to learn I was in the next week so I got my thinking cap on and decided I wanted to do Tina Turner "River Deep Mountain High". Some might think it is a little karaoke but it is a song I am comfortable with and I can also show another side to my voice, the voice I love......ROCK!!!!!!...

  • One Heat Down & Hope many more to come........

    Ey Folks,

    What a night......Fantastic turnout.......Judging by the audience participation and comments they were well impressed with the set up and how the show started bang on time.

    Lightening Strikes opened up the show and played a few fantastic hits. Great band, Great Variety. Shakey from L.Strikes introduced Paul Malone and the Competition started at bang on 9.30 with the X-Factor music and lights going like the hammers. Paul Malone was compare and will be compare throughout the remaining 11 weeks. The first act was introduced. Was not an easy one to do at all.......

    Approx 45 mins on Mise was called up. I had to tackle the steep steps up onto the stage first. God Long dress and High Heels on steep steps are a recepie for a disaster!!!!. Anyway I got on with it and made it up safely. I sung something quite different for those who knew me, a song from a musical Le Miserable, I Dreamed a Dream. I always wanted an oppertunity to perform the songs ever since the first time I heard it when I was in secondary school.......*thats a while ago* :D . Thankfully it went well, finished it up and the judges had their opinion to express. Phil complemented my song but wants something with a little punch, now they are not his words but that is the main jist of it.

    The night ended just before 12 with us all lined up infront of the stage and Paul had the honours of calling out who are staying and who maybe leaving. I was called to say I was safe early on, Phew I was delighted. "Live to fight another day" LOL :D

    Unfortunately the judges had to make a decision on the final two who had the least votes. Was a surprise to all but they had the hard task in keeping one act.

    So we are now down to 14 acts next Friday. My head is still spinning from last night but really gotta knuckle down and sort out another song.............Sooooo till next week, Have a Fab St. Patricks Weekend [clover] .

      just read ur msg now sorry for the delay in replying havnt time for bebo anymore :L :L :L
      it prob very short notice but we are both off this thursday if you wana come down and check out the church an dat.
      we were actuly in church saturday morning for my nieces communion and the school choir were singing away but not very well mite i add :L :L
      they were in the side aisles and i taught they were just vibrating off the walls.
      mam said the adult choir sing from there every saturday evening at 6.30 and they very good obviously there voices would travel better than the kids. so ill have to go check them out and see for myself. god ill be a holy joe by the time the wedding comes :L :L :L :L
      ill let you know either way anyhow the balcony for singing sounds like a safe bet at the mo anyhow..
