- Hate these autobiography boxes. Best one I've seen was a mate who simply wrote "serious drink problem - living in tent up west coast of Scotland".
He's really an architect.

Happy St. Andrews Day
to all my friends worldwide.
Happy St. Andrew's Day
St. Andrew's Day
Sunday 30th November 2008
No reason whatsoever that St. Andrew's Day should not be as big (or bigger) worldwide as St. Paddy's Day.
We can all make a wee bit effort this Sunday
Get yir kilts on and the flags oot.
No kilt?........ Buy one, or at least wear a Scotland jersey.
Play Scottish music all day.
Send an email to all your mates wishing them a "Happy St. Andrew's Day."
Eat something Scottish like haggis or deep fried pizza.
Leave a message on your ansaphone saying "sorry, we are out celebrating being Scottish"
When shopping, choose the Scottish option.
Raise a glass to "Scotland and St. Andrew ! "
Thank your God / god for being so lucky as to be born Scottish.
If you weren't so lucky to be born Scottish, then thank your God / god for being so lucky as to have Scottish friends.
most of all, HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!!
On Saturday: I will be at the St. Andrew's Rally in Edinburgh parading down the Royal Mile to the parliament buildings where I will be singing a couple of songs. 8pm - 9pm at St. Andrews party in Winchburgh then 10pm - 1 am at The Three Sisters in Edinburgh.
Sunday: 3pm Tartan Arms, Bannockburn, 9pm O'Neill's, Stirling
Slainte !, Ted

stirling bridge commemoration
Battle of Stirling Bridge Commemoration
Following last year's very successful event here are the details of this year's commemoration:
Friday 12th September 2008 7.30pm at The North Grass of The Old Brig there will be a short ceremony of rememberance. There will be some short speeches of rememberance and flowers will be laid in tribute. Duncan Brown will pipe the lament.
At 8pm just across the road at Bridgehaugh home of Stirling County Rugby Club there will be a full evening of entertainment and dancing featuring Clanadonia, Bannockburn and Ted Christopher. Duncan Brown will be exhibiting some of his paintings. Tickets are £10 available in advance from Roadshow Music, 64 Upper Craigs, Stirling (tel 01786 471323).
Last year the evening was well attended and very enjoyable. Please feel free to bring flags and banners. As it is very possible the social event will sell out please email me ticket requirements asap.
Please feel free to forward to anyone you feel will want to be there.0 commentaires 502 jours

You don't know me I'm just a fan. I love "The Auld Land". My Dad's from Golspie and I lived there for a few years when I was a child. I still visit the place occasionally. So obviously that song really strikes a chord with me.
