There are a lot of decisions to be made in life. Some of them easy (vanilla over chocolate chip any day!). Some of them not so straight forward. Choosing whether to go to college, stay at sixth form, get a job, or pull up the duvet and roll over, must rank up there as one of the toughest of the lot. Hopefully, this site will help make that decision easier.

It won't tell you what to do - you're smart enough to do that yourself ;) - but it will put you in touch with real students that have gone to MK College and who can tell you what it's really like.
What's the social side like? How do the teachers treat you? Will you get treated like an adult? How much homework am I expected to do? Will I have a laugh there? What are the people like?
These are just some of the questions potential students ask. In time, we hope to have lots of former students who can help you.

    • Making MK Brighter event

      Milton Keynes College has been making the people of out city brighter for 25 years now, and to celebrate this achievement the college is planning to make MK brighter with a day of colour, fun, music and events. It all takes place at the Xscape building on August 1st from 12 noon.

      Th event is run in association with Xscape and SnoZone and features urban art from top local graffiti artists Axe and Neill, and slick moves from street dance crews and UK Hip-Hop champtions On Point and Nemisis. DJs Hoolio and Ad-Dapt will be mixing the sounds and Horizon radio will be on hand with the Black Thunder with great prize giveaways. It's sure to be fun for everyone so come along!

    • Full-time prospectus

      It's that time of year again when the marketing department has to start planning the new full-time prospectus and a an important part of the process is getting together market research - that's where you guys come in!

      I need your input to help improve the look and content of this year's prospectus so that we can make sure it is delivering what you guys (and our prospective students) need. Therefore, I'd be really grateful of any feedback about what you think of the current prospectus, how it could be improved, what you like/don't like about it and anything you would do differently.

      These comments will form a really important part of our research, so your opinions are vital!

      This blog is going to be a shrine devoted to helping make Milton Keynes a brighter place. A meeting place for students and MK residents alike to share what they've done to make MK brighter.

      Hopefully, over the coming days, weeks, months...years(?) This will become a place where the bright and the bold from MK can post anything they have done to make Milton Keynes a brighter place. Whether it's ramblings, fiction, photography, art, music, lyrics, whatever floats your boat. I'm all ears... and eyes

      Surely, there are hundreds of people who, in their own way, are making MK brighter every day - many of them college students. Go on. Indulge me. Tell me what you've done.
