- I grew up listening to great music in church and at home through a diverse and well rounded collection of records. I remember, vividly, feeling an overwhelming desire to play an instrument as early as age three. Dad was always willing to show me chords on his acoustic guitar whenever I asked. Probably one of the most influential turning points for me, musically, was an offer from my uncle to give me piano lessons which led to playing for our church youth choir at age ten. Some of my best memories are playing and singing with my family, especially my sister, who was my musical partner, in a sense, for many years. Our church was blessed with several great musicians who were monumental in shaping my musical taste and playing style. I've had the opportunity to play in numerous churches, cover bands, and recording sessions. I love every aspect of the recording process. It is a beautiful thing to behold. I thank God for his gift of music. I hope you enjoy the album.

Hey everybody, I've uploaded a new song, written by Kristal's Grandmother, Betty Schumacher, for your listening pleasure. I hope it blesses you. I get the tingles listening to Kristal sing the words. Sometimes you can just tell when the lyrics were passed across the galaxies to a willing pen. You can hear the heart of a veteran Christian Grandmother who has lived life's good times and its tragedies and understands that our Father is good to us even when things don't look so great. He is always there no matter what we're going through. We recorded this in a very traditional "churchy" but worshipful fashion that I think you will enjoy.
