The band formed originally as Sleep Of Right but soon changed their name to Ethereal until realising it had already been taken so then decided on Lacuna Coil which means Empty Spiral.
Lacuna Coil released their first self-titled EP in 1998 at this point in time the band consisted of Cristina, Marco Coti Zelati & Andrea.
The full band recorded their first full-length album "In a Reverie" in 1999.
They released another EP "Halflife" on Nov 18th 2000 & in 2001 released their second full length album "Unleashed Memories".
"Comalies" was released in 2002 & became best-selling CD in the history of Century Media.
April 2006 saw "Karmacode" released which has had 4 singles & counting.....
