    At 00.15 this morning I said goodbye to my beautiful and wonderful old girl 'Skippy' :(

    Skippy was the most amazing horse ever, she was so loving and I cannot remember her ever putting a foot wrong nor ever having to tell her off ;)

  • Another hospital visit


    26th January 2007

    Well, I was back at the hospital for the results of my treatment today. I saw my Surgeon and also the Oncolgist, they had fab news for me - I am in remission or cured, I think :D I've escaped radiotherapy so that's it, no more treatment.

    My only follow up is 3 monthly check ups and tablet called Tamoxifen (a low grade hormone chemo in tablet form)for 5 years. Actually 3 weeks later my Oncologist asked me to change to another type of tablet called Arimidex, this is supposedly better - but loads of side effects, which I'll tell you about another day :P

      Got your mail was going to call you tonight for sum health advise about china..

      She has got tiny spots that are scabbing up both ears are the same and they are def not bite cuts... As I first thought they were, they are wee mounds that come up then scab over.


      Have you came across this and do you have any advise for it....????

      Im working at a place called Birchwood Highland Recovery Centre in Inverness as a N/A but considering going to do mental health nurse training. Glad to hear your enjoying your retirement, cant think of a better way to spend time ,for relaxation than being out wi the dogs.

      Know what you mean about the nightshifts, n rallies, Im an N/A believe it or not, n first rally i entered at black isle was on a friday n saturday nightshift, just shattered sunday !
