You Know You're A '90s Kid If....

You had a huge fringe in some point of your childhood.

You remember watching and reading "Goosebumps".

You took plastic lunch-boxes to school.

You remember the crazes of "Tamagotchi's", "Pro-Yo II's" and "chatter-rings".

You still have the urge to say "not" after everything...NOT!

You remember the "Power Rangers" and always new the pink ranger and the green ranger were meant to be...

You collected pokemon cards.

You owned an alien which lived in its pod, and you knew when you stuck them back-to-back they would have babies!

You watched the original "Post Man Pat" and "Fireman Sam".

You used to wear stick on ear-rings, not just on your ears, but in the corners of your eyes too.

You know the macerena off by heart.

"Talk To The Hand"...Enough said.

You thought "Brain" from "Pinky and the Brain" would eventually take over the world.

You remember "Bum Bags".

You collected "Tazo's"

Two words - "Spice Girls"

You new it was cool to wear trousers and skirts at the same time, oh yes, "Trouser-Skirts"!

You wanted/owned a pair of "Jelly Shoes".

Plea from a dog

Please treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no other heart in all the world is more grateful for your kindness than the loving heart that beats within me.
Do not attempt to break my spirit with a stick for though i might lick your hand between blows, it will be your patience and understanding that will quickly teach me all the things you would have me learn and do.
I beg you to speak to me often, since my ears always find your voice to be the worlds sweetest music.
You must realise this by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps fall upon my waiting ears.
Please protect me when its cold or wet, for i am just a domestic animal and i am not accustomed to such harsh elements.
And i could ask for no greater glory than the privilege of sitting proudly at your feet beside an open hearth throughout the bitter weather.
You must also keep my pan filled with freah water, for i have no way of telling you when i suffer thirst.
Please feed me wholesome food that i may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding to walk happily by your side, always ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should your own life be in danger.
And my beloved friend and master, when the passage of our fun filled years, at last renders me so very old that i on longer enjoy good health, sight and hearing, I beg you not to make heroic efforts to keep me alive, for i am no longer having any fun.
Instead, i would urge you now to please see to it that my life is taken gently then i shell leave this earth knowing that with the last breath i draw, i was always safest here in your gentle kind and loving hands..

Old dog in a locket, that lays next to my heart; I will always love you as i did right from the start.
You were right beside me, through the darkest of my days; It was your kind and gentle nature, that made me want you to stay.
Now i hold you in my arms, your breath still warm against my hand; Our hearts still beat together, and i wonder if you understand.
Through the hours that i held you, befor the light did leave your soul; I knew a way to keep you, forever in my hold.
I snipped the hair from around your eyes, so i would always see; The beauty that surrounds me, even in the times of need.
I snipped the hair from around your ears, so i would always hear; Music in the distance, to quiet any fears.
I snipped the hair from across your back, to bring me strength in time of need; And the power of your essence, would always be with me.
I snipped the hair from around your heart, that beat in time with mine; So i would know that love would find me at some distant time.
And so your life slipped out of mine, on a quiet spring like day; But i know that a part of you, will always be here to stay.
