Everybody knows I hate to complain about anything but this is starting to take the piss. I just payed a parking ticket for parking in my own street on a meter-(you can park on them till 9.30 am). i got the ticket at 9:41 TEN MINUTES??!! for £50!!? Jeusus Christ, i only parked there in the first place because there were no resident permit spaces left anywhere within a 1000 mile radius of my house- the permit for which is a snip at £110 per year by the way. And then just after i payed it i went to tesco to get a bit of food- at 9pm and parked in what looked like a parking spot only to come out literally 2minutes later to find 2 of the most repellent men I have ever had the misfortune to meet issuing me with ANOTHER £50 ticket. I dont like to swear in blogs but for fucks sake. and as i trid to persuade him not to give me a ticket-which is a bit like trying to talk hitler into giving a gay black jewish performance artist a get-out-of-the-gas-chamber-free card he told me that is was better than sitting at home not doing anything. I thought about this and i've come to the conclusion that he was a total moron. the problem these days is that there is just so much stuff which seems like it was designed with no purpose in mind whatsoever other than to wind you, specifically, up. traffic wardens being a perfect figurehead of the kind on non-thinking un-compassionate uniformed jobsworths (on a side note, there is definitely a song in this so there may be a silver lining after all) who appear to revel in making other peoples lives a misery. So what would happen if they did just stay at home? he asked me if i'd rather he live on handouts and I have to say YES, OF COURSE I WOULD! i dont care if i have to pay twice as much tax, if it meant that all those people and jobs which make living in this coutry such an incredibly stressful and miserable experience most of the time just went back under the rocks they obviously crawled out from and left the rest of us alone to get on with job of doing something slightly more worthwhile with our lives than ruining peoples days, that would suit me fine.

Apart from that, everythings going according to plan in the grace camp, we've been writing some nice tunes recently which will hopefully see the light of day, or even the slightly dingier atmosphere of a record shop before you've got bored of the last lot. we're going to make another video soon, which we're all very excited about and i'm sure theres lots else, like radio shows and interviews and things you can read/listen to but i'm afraid i can't remember many right now.
