Fancy doing something different on the 4th July?
Want to burn off some of that excess energy?
Remember you said you would like to help people less fortunate than yourself, well now’s your chance!
Do you want to contribute to the real spirit of Independence on the 4th July?
That is the independence of street children existing in one of the harshest of places on the planet, in the slums of Kenya.
The Changaro Trust want you to walk, run, race, hike, bike, waddle or even dander to help the children in the biggest slum in Africa.
At 7pm on the 4th July you are invited to take part in tour of the Two Bridges and while you are keeping fit and enjoying the craic the street children of Kenya’s slums will benefit from the donations you make to the Trust.
Anyone can do it whatever your age, level of fitness or even in fancy dress so bring the wains, your granny or in the gorilla outfit if you really want to. E
veryone is welcome and come along to Sainsbury’s car park for 7pm.
The entry fee is £5 or more if possible (sponsor sheets are also available for those wishing to raise bigger amounts) but your donation, no matter how small or large, will go directly to building a refuge for street children in Nazerine just outside of Nairobi.
