close About Me
- Me, Myself, and I
- My way more than average life consists of spending time with my 2 girls, my family and my friends. Pretty much in that order.
I have a sprightly demeanour, a goofy sense of humour, laugh very easily, but can be a grumpy b@#tard.
I am debonair, sophisticated, have a dapper dress sense, but am not as clever as I think I am.
I am a happy drunk, can be a pain in the ar#e and lazy to a fault, but find beauty in places where most do not.
I am an inconsistent blogger, a wannabe writer, a philosophical thinker and a curious observer.
Please note that these are very much the opinions of others and in no way reflect that of my own. I am foremost a very modest and humble person.
Afterall, in the end everything is just opinion. - Music
- Fairly eclectic. I like a bit of everything. Never liked one single band.
- Films
- Aliens, Blade Runner. Don't know if I could choose between the 2!!!
- Sports
- Yes
- Happiest when
- Always happy, unless I'm sad. Then I'm not happy.
- Love
- My 2 girls, my family, my friends, good company, interesting people, lots of alchohol, TV, mobile phones, movies, reading, writing, sleeping, dreaming, laughing, Aston Martin DB5, games consoles, well...gadgets, well...anything with buttons you can press, rollercoasters, swimming, when you manage to reach the itchy bit, my daughters laugh.
- Dislike
- Intolorance, closed minds, impatience, hate, cruelty, children crying, midgies, station logos on the channel I'm watching, bad adverts, going to bed, getting out of bed, shopping with women, loud people. Clowns, clowns!!! Why would anyone invite something like that to a childrens party?!

Ring a Ring o' Roses
This is a new book I have written specifically for bebo. I may one day extend it to a novel but at the moment I like it the way it is.
I will be serializing it to give me time to review what I have, as I'm publishing it as I go. Hope you enjoy it.

Paul Carroll43 weeks agoWonderful news, Chris! Glad to hear it
And of course, feel free to submit. You're doing us a great service by editing; Christopher has no choice but to wave away the "active members only
rule"
(yes, the smiley is meant to be there
)
Yeah, I'll do my best to get all the latest news to you as it arises

Paul Carroll44 weeks agoHeya Chris! I haven't heard from you in a while so I thought I'd drop on by and chance your Bebo. How are things?
Also, ulterior motive here (my badness): I was wondering if you would consider being an editor again in the next Anthology? I don't to assume you're doing it, or force you into it (what with the marriage!) so I thought I'd ask.
Take care,
Paul. -

Thank you very much for the review of "The Solitude of Fireflies". I can understand exactly the way you felt when reading it. I know my writing can get quite verbally pretentious sometimes, and overbearing. Just my attempt to appear smart and sofisticated! Doesn't always work though
But I very much appreciate the fact that you read it nevertheless, as well as my other authors site. Your suggestions have been very much taken to heart.
Anyway sorry for rambling, tend to do that alot. I shall endeavour to read your work asap.
Keep the talent alive!

Oddville Press79 weeks agoHi, Chris. My name is Sam, and I'm a member of staff of the Oddville Press, an online magazine dedicated to bringing new, undiscovered writing talent to the forefront of the publishing world. I'm letting all the members of Literary Den know about the unique chance to become published in our e-zine. Paul has agreed to post a brochure about us in his next newsletter, but for now I thought I'd make you aware of us. Our website is www.theoddvillepress.com. We're taking submissions for Issue 1 as of now. Closing date is sometime in August, though we haven't decided on that one-hundred percent yet. If you're interested, submit a piece and we'll be happy to take a look.
Thanks for your time.
