Millsyeck are a four piece rock band from Dundee Scotland,founded by Singer/Songwriter Alex Mills ,after years of playing small gigs doing covers he found himself unsatisfied musically,after growing up in a musical family Alex saw his fair share of good musicians who seemed too happy covering songs for the money and soon decided that his heart lay elsewhere in writing his own material, soon he decided it was time to get recording songs not knowing where it was going two songs gathered momentum into the debut album entitled Who I Am, the album was recieved well and added fuel to the fire, after a few oportunities to play the songs live Alex discovered that this was the feeling from playing music he had been missing for years,so he decided to embark on finding like minded musicians to take the next step to get out there and blaze a trail on the unsigned scene,after a few failed attempts Alex found the line up he had been looking for,in came bassist Steve Alexander, Rythm Guitarist Frank Duncan, and drummer Jaimie Corstorphine, with the line up complete and live performances under their belt momentum for the group has grown and continues to grow from strenght to strength,with another album written and more gigs coming into line the band has a good grip on where they are heading in the future and Millsyeck are a group to be seen on the Scottish unsigned scene and soon beyond.
