- This book is about a 15 year old girl named Kaylin, who lives in Australia. Each morning she surfs and admires a boy from afar, but doesn't expect anything to happen. However when a shark attacks only Kaylin is around to save him. Gradually they become friends and she falls more in love than she ever deemed possible. She goes on holiday with him and generally hangs out with him. But when he suddenly falls into a coma she feels her whole life fall apart around her. Will he wake up? Soon after she finds out that her Mum is dating an English guy and he wants her to go and live with him in England, Kaylin refuses to go and leave her beloved in Australia. What will she resort to to stay in Australia?
I will be posting more of this story when I have written it as it is a story in development.

Laura Kennedy7/12/07write more plz

i hate filling this space you have a really fluid and easy style about you which allows the reader to feel completely involved. very well written, articulate and intelligent. my only point of contention is the shark. it was a bit discriminatory. i know how stupid it sounds to tell you your stereotyping a shark of all fecking things. but sharks number 1, aren't smart enough to actually swim after a person, and plus why would they? it's a known fact that sharks dislike the taste of people. and yeah it was ok when it bit the surf board, sharks generally do cos they confuse them for people but to actually swim after the boy and target him was a bit...well off.
by Jean Anne 7/25/07but still it was excellent to see the girl do the saving for once.
