Edinburgh Boat Party is the brain child of club promoters Harry Bennett and Leon Easter. It began as a test project back in September 2006. With a background of nearly 20 years djing and 10 years promoting nights combined the duo have made a heavy impact on the capitals dance party scene. After the phenomenal success of a sell out event beyond expectations, it was decided to make the event more regular event.
Edinburgh Boat Party will be back in 2009 with another cracking line-up, watch this space!!

TWO BOAT PARTIES IN AUGUST!!!
Thanks to everyone that made the sell out party last month, truly jumping from start to finish!!
We have two parties this month first and foremost our original house party on the 17th August.....We are very excited to invite Gareth Sommerville from Edinburgh`s flagship House Night Ultragroove to the shake it ship!! As always Leon and Harry will get the party started with their trademark sound of delightful grooves and melodies to set the mood (and scene), hand over to the guests, then take the boat home with the classics and anthems you all love and adore! Support as usual from Gary J on Live percussion.
And on the 10th August ......Brothers and Sisters…....The Soul Boat is returning this summer for another exclusive party on the water! Featuring a solid soul line up presenting: BOB JEFFERIES (SOUTHPORT WEEKENDER/NU-SOUL) With support from: RICKY REID & BARRY SHARP Expect to hear the finest selection of Northern Soul, Funk, Disco & Soulful house.
Tickets £17.50 including bus (limited to 100 places) from Ripping Records and Ticketweb. Plse note there is no Bus for the SOUL BOAT.

This month we welcome a bumper edition of Djs to the boat from the Edinburgh club scene. With each DJ bringing thier own flava to the waves expect to be taken on a musical journey touching on many styles including House, Techno, Disco, Funk & Soul!
To add to the atmosphere we are throwing in the option of FANCY DRESS!
If you arrive in fancy dress a portion of your ticket cost will be collectivley donated to the N.A.S (National Autistic Society). The charity are trying to raise £18,000 to take the autistic kids to Euro Disney towards the end of this year! We will also be walking round with buckets on the event for people to throw in thier loose change to help the cause.

Edinburgh Boat Party this Sunday!

Tickets still available with free bus service there and back
An intimate 4 hour cruise dance party across the waters of the Firth of Forth featuring a selection of Edinburgh`s best loved club dj’s.
Featuring a HUGE sound system, fully stocked bar (at local pub prices!), heated indoor area, canopy in case it rains and a chance to see one of Scotlands most beautiful sunsets.
The boat leaves South Queensferry Pier @ 6:30pm and returns for 10:30pm.
The official pre-party begins at the GRV (just off chambers street) @ 4pm with the buses leaving @ 6pm sharp to return for the official afterparty featuring dj’s from the boat + friends until the early hours of the morning.
This month we will be supplying a party soundtrack of house anthems over the last 10 years to our usual crowd of fun, friendly, screaming and shouting party goers.

However, its now time for residents Liam Goldie & tonykeo to take over again in November and as always they'll be smashing up the Speakeasy, OUR HOUSE style !!
So, if you like your house music and like it funky, jackin, vocal, disco tinged or even a wee bit dirtier, then you'd definitely be better off in OUR HOUSE than yours so get your ass down !!
