Well we have seen much loss in 2007 due to drink and drug use. As always we call on people to be vigilant and most importantly be informed in 2008! with the right information you can make the right choices.

Drugs Helpline
Currently in this country there is no out of hours Telephone Helpline Services for people effected by substance misuse thats nothing after 4pm Monday to Friday and no services at all on Saturday and Sunday!. We are not just talking about people who use drugs we are talking about those living with them Brothers Sisters, Mothers Fathers, Children!.
Currently we are trying to identify if there is a need for this.

Drugs
Well lots of people ask me lots of questions about drugs and we constantly find that a common reason for Young People experimenting with Drugs is often Peer Pressure, Maybe your at a Party or at a Rave and someone offers you something. Not wanting to look like a fool often people take the drug what ever it is! just so they do not to look like a fool infront of their friends.
What do you think?

I hope you get the longer hours at the helpline, I'm in recovery myself for drugs and drink and to some a phone number could be a small thing but it really could save a life. Any of the numbers i got that I have used have made all the difference to me x really hope it comes through.
