So, been here over a month now and its good. Glad i finally moved here, got me away from somethings that were unavoidable and that i was unable to change or fix. Some may say "your just running, and if you run all the time you'll be running forever"

Life After Death - 1 year on
Hello everyone,
So, its been a while since i have been on bebo, i was just reading my old blog and thought it would be nice for an update.
When i wrote all the stuff i had only been saved for 2 months which by all means is not a long time at all. Now however i am over one year down the track in my salvation and still living for Jesus christ. I still havent had a smoke, a drink or any drugs and most of all i have kept myself clean sexually.
Living for Jesus is much more then just a choice, i realize that there are many people who feel alone, like they are missing something, you dont know what but you know that it is something and the last thing you will think is Jesus, right?
I know... i have been there and i have done that and look at me now. One of the things i love about God is that he knows you better then you know yourself, that it doesnt matter who you are and what youve done. He still loves you for who HE knows you are.
You could be really old or really young, fat or thin, popular or have commited social suicide and He still loves you. The best thing about giving your life to Christ is that you get a second chance at living and learn how to do it the real way.
Its strange, when i was first saved it was like i was seeing for the first time. Drinking, drugs and smoking were no longer apealing to me, infact it sort of started to scare me a little bit. a couple of nights i have been out in the city with friends from my church, either fellowshipping or wittnessing and have looked around me in shock, fear and dispear. I always see so many people i know God wants to help but because he gave us our own will... we have gone and turned everything upside down on its head and we are still today, spiraling out of controll in this nose dive of sin.
I would like to finish by saying, Even though i am one year down the track, i have still got a long long way to go. Im not perfect, i still make mistakes, sometimes big ones. We have to know that we are not able to be perfect or even close, there was only on man on God's earth that was perfect and he went up on the cross to pay for our sins, ones you commited a long time ago, and ones you are yet to commit.
I just pray that you give God a chance... i mean what is there to lose right?

Life After Death
So you are probbaly thinking, what do you mean... life after death?
Wierd topic huh?
No not really, let me explain.
On 11/10/08 i gave my life to Jesus Christ, and i havent looked back since. I've noticed things that i do now that are far different from what i used to do. Ive been thinking about how much i miss my friends in NZ and there are some i still relaly miss but i have had to think of why it is i actually miss them.
I figured that i miss alot of them because of the things we used to get up to. drinking, drugs making fun of people and just being ferrals.
And in thinking about that i have narrowd my list of people i miss down by a whole lot, i figure that getting drunk with people, or being avail for people to get drunk with is really friendship. i lost a lot of friends before i moved to Brisbane but there are a select couple that i know i genuinly love and care for.
After giving my life to Jesus, i have stopped smoking, drinking, swearing, drugs and random one night stands with people i know and people i never really knew at all. I feel clean, and even though i know im not the best person i can be i feel im activly making an effort to get there, i love my church and my new church family in 10 days it will have been 2 months since i have given myself to Jesus, 2 months since i said the sinners preyr, since smoking, drugs, drinking and such.
I will admit, it is not easy to be a born again christian, it is alot harder then one would assume. You live with a memory of what you used to get up to and for some reason back then you thought it was fun, but it wasnt, it was bordem, it is bordem that makes alot of people do bad things, drinking and the like, and that stuff doesnt satisfy, it will never fill a void, it will kill time and kill you and then where are you going to go?
Think about it, i know i do. I Hope you (person on my friends list and people just taking a look) take the time to think about what your doing with your life and where your going, are you happy? sad? feel alone? well let me tell you, you dont need to feel like that... Gods here and he will never orphan you, he will help take away your pain and sorrows, if your woried about something, so is god, if your hurting, so is god. Cast all of your fears and pain off to god and ill be praying for you.
