tigers, blue birds and butterflies.
she ran through the hallways of her apartment building as if she were a hungry tiger chasing after a fat, juicy deer. out onto the pavement she went, and realized she didn't have anywhere to go. But she kept running, chasing, and waiting. she couldn't wait any longer. for what, she didn't know, but she couldn't wait. she had a destination though, anywhere or anyone she can call home.
she ran through wind, rain, snow and hail. until she found a cliff where she could jump off. when her feet lifted from the edge of land, she felt like she could fly, she was light, and thin. for a split second she really did defy gravity with her blue bird wings. and landed in a field of red poppies that contrasted so brightly against the cloudless blue sky.
laughing and smiling, she was put in a bright mood as she rolled around the poppies carelessly. She's a butterfly fluttering in her own imagination, holding on to a wish that will eventually come true.0 Comments 233 weeks
