Reeltime Music, a community music charity based near Motherwell, Scotland. The studio is easily accessible by train (25 mins from Glasgow Central) bus (frequent services from Motherwell and Glasgow) and car (just off the M8 motorway, junction 6)

The Reeltime Studio is a professional, fully equipped facility based around Pro Tools HD technology and a great selection of microphones and outboard equipment. Our huge acoustically designed live area can accommodate the largest of sessions whilst being suitable for the most intimate of recordings.

Our spacious rehearsal room offers full backline and PA equipment along with all the services you need to get your music ready including a studio shop and drinks machine.

RATES:

RECORDINGS: £12.50 PER HR!!

REHEARSAL: £18 FOR A 3HR SESSION!!

  • Sound Minds - Fri 9th October - Motherwell Concert Hall - Free Entry - 7pm

    Sound Minds has been developed by young people who are inspired by music, driven by change and passionate about promoting positive mental health to other young people.

    Sound Minds are holding a music event that will take place in Motherwell Concert Hall on the 9th of October 2009, featuring 7 of the best local live acts, who will be playing a fusion of songs they associate with mental health, as well as their own music.

    The Sound Minds group are pulling out all the stops to promote the event by having a Music Marathon day with 6 gigs in 7 hours, featuring 9 artists travelling throughout North Lanarkshire in a Mega Limo.

    The Sound Minds project is funded by the NHS and North Lanarkshire Social Work.

  • Young Scot's Got Talent - Acts Announced

    Hi everyone



    Firstly, can I just say a big thank you to everyone for entering the competition to represent North Lanarkshire in Young Scot’s Got Talent, taking place on Sat 13th and Sun 14th June.



    After careful consideration from our panel of judges, made up of young people from North Lanarkshire, I am pleased to announce the 6 finalists who have successfully secured a place in the final.



    They are:

    Aamir Ghani



    Once again, I would like to thank everyone for entering, the standard was high, and the competition was very close indeed.

      Scottish Traditions of Dance Trust are delighted to offer a one-day intensive course in Scottish Fusion Dance, blending Traditional Scottish dances with more contemporary styles such as Bollywood and Hip-Hop, to dance tutors wishing to branch into another field of dance teaching.

      Due to the unprecedented success and demand for this innovative slant on Scottish Traditional Dance, STDT requires additional tutors comfortable and familiar in delivering Scottish Fusion dance. This training day, led by STDT’s Resident Dance Tutor, Lisa Kennedy, will equip the already competent dance tutor in this exciting dance form, using familiar Ceilidh dances such as the Gay Gordons and the Dashing White Sergeant, as well as some lesser known ones and fuse them with other styles.
