- After a break and a few discussions we've decided to come back as watch me explode. airway avenue didn't represent the nature of our band, we've got a EP and are hoping to record soon as we have some new material.

Hello everyone, for some time now we went and have went on hiatus due to many personal reasons new songs we have played. and we just didn't know what to do, but we went and had a discussion about the bands future and we all came to an agreement to just keep going with the band.
We are also in the planning stages of our new ep that we are doing, also soon we are to be giving a video blog of some of the songs now played. Also coming very soon is band merchandise, this will include posters and t-shirts.

NEW BAND NAME
AIRWAY AVENUE is the new name of the band
yes after almost 2 years we decided to let "watch me explode" go!! This we believe has been a good step even tho we debated for about 2 hours over the name but then we all came to an agreement!! So wait and and see becuase AIRWAY AVENUE will be playing a place near you!!

Theres a botb in fuel on the last weekend in August. Its a two day gig over the friday and saturday night. Ther is an entry fee of about £15 in think but theres in a good sum prize money for first, second and third place.

We are only at this early stage, using songs that bands already have recorded and putting them all togethor were other fans can listen to them altogethor, so unless a band has a decent sounding recording, they probably wont be considered for the 1st CD we put out...But as i say, we are a very early stage and as promoters, are still learning a lot.
Ok, basically the CD will be sold in Smyths Musique, Newcastle and played in matchetts as we have talked to these two companies already. This looks like this will be the only place selling the 1st CD we make, and we will be charging £15 per song on the CD, limited to 2 songs per band. We are orgaising a launch night for the CD at the moment but no further details have been arranged. The CD, we are hoping, will influence fans of one band to by it and discover more local talent.
