Screenwriter Workshop
MPS is delighted to announce that we are hosting a screenwriting workshop by Sean Mahoney this Thursday evening (20th November) in C123 at 6pm.
Sean is a professional screenwriter based in Los Angeles and has just arrived in Dublin. He was awarded the Nicoll Fellowship by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (that is.... the OSCARS....!!!!!! ) for "Fenian's Trace".
He has kindly agreed to come to DCU and share his skills and divulge his script tips and advice to the members of DCUMPS... and we are very excited.
I sincerely hope you can all make it!

TV & Film Producer Talk
A successful TV series producer
Grainne O’Carroll is coming to DCU on Tuesday 28th Oct at 7pm to talk to us about producing for TV and film. She is a professional producer and has worked on various TV series, making her extremely sought after at the moment, so make sure you don’t miss her !
Grainne will provide first hand advice on the ins and outs of TV and film production: a great opportunity for anyone interested in the industry. She has produced many types and genres of programmes - entertainment, documentary, lifestyle and drama. However her passion lies in sport documentaries.

AGM
Our AGM will be held this Tuesday 14th Oct at 6.30pm in C104, if possible we would love to see all members there. Please bring ideas, enthusiasm and positivity. If anyone was unable to sign up during Clubs & Socs days, it is possible to join MPS at any meeting. We will also be nominating a new first year rep during the AGM.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
