Planet Beach Ireland Seek Contestants for Ms Planet Beach Ireland Crown
Planet Beach Ireland Contempo Spa, part of the worldwide Planet Beach group, is seeking competitors for the Ms Planet Beach Ireland crown. The winning entrant will travel stateside to compete in the Ms. Planet Beach International competition.
The Ms. Planet Beach Ireland Competition is the first of an annual, national spokesmodel search that provides unique opportunities for women aged 18 to 34, exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for personal self-improvement. The competition will be held in TramCo nightclub in, Rathmines, Dublin on Friday September 12th.
Competitors will be asked to compete in evening and swimwear heats along with an interview round. Judges on the night include reality TV star and founder of Bella Makover, Jennifer Maguire and Assets model Sara Kavanagh. The winner, who is crowned Ms Planet Beach Ireland on the night, will receive prizes which include an all expenses paid trip to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, US, where she will compete in the Ms Planet Beach International competition along with a years membership of Planet Beach Contempo Spa.
Ms. Planet Beach International 2008 will receive a $100,000 one year Modelling Contract, a franchise license to open her own Planet Beach Contempo Spa, a Calendar Shoot for Ms. Planet Beach 2009 calendar, and nationally syndicated television appearances for the World Finals and a Custom Ms. Planet Beach International diamond pendant necklace.
Proceeds from the Ms Planet Beach International event support Make It Right, a campaign founded by Brad Pitt, focused on rebuilding sustainable and affordable ‘green’ homes in the Katrina devastated Ninth Ward area of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Speaking on the competition, Managing Director of Planet Beach Ireland, Donal Coade comments, “Ms Planet Beach Ireland is different to other beauty pageants. We are not solely looking for beauty but also for a winner who possess charisma and can embody the ethos and core values of Planet Beach - people, belief, integrity, goals and focus”.

Ireland’s own Planet Beach Contempo Spa is soon to open in Unit D6 The GlasHaus, Tallaght, Dublin before spreading nationwide in the coming months. The Contempo Spa which is fully automated and includes Aqua and Hydro Massage Therapy, Acupressure, Cloud 9 Oxegen bar, Hydro-Derma Fusion and Light Therapy.

Galway’s first Jack Jones store finds a home in GM2
This Thursday, 22nd November, sees the official opening of Galway’s first Jack Jones store, which will be overseen by TG4’s own style icon Daithi O Sé. Adding another store to Grace Menswear’s expanding portfolio, Jack Jones will be homed in the new male fashion house, GM2, located in Unit 13 Centrepoint, in the Liosbán Retail Park.
From the young dudes to the older gentlemen, fashion is foremost in all Jack Jones’ casual lines - Jeans, Shirts, Hoodies and Sweaters from the smaller sizes for the slimmer gent to large sizes to for those muscular hunks. Jack Jones upscale jeans wear for this season is a clean and lean look that’s sleek and slim-fit teamed with an Indie utility approach, where checks are the new stripes is a trait worth tracking, along with the digital genes look, vector graphics and pixilation as an artistic expression of one’s individuality.
