Black Trees against an orange sky
I wonder will will they follow when I die?
If Heaven allows such earthly things,
Summer, Winter, Autumn, Spring?
At Times I often think,
Is Earth this tiny Link,
Holding dark and light so near,
So they can hear
The cries and Joys of pain,
Fighting for some cause in vein
What a beautifully flawed place,
A heavenly speck in outter space.
Heaven's ecstacy,
I have a low expectancy,
Nothing compares to the coldness of the rain,
Nor the expuisite pain,
Of inhaling every breath,
Exploring every depth
Of your living soul,
For someone warm to hold.
The sun is setting in the West,
The sea is just the beach's guest,
Not the overpowering swell,
Deep blue does not dare to dwell
On God's fornt door,
He turns his back upon the shore,
To await the welcoming tide,
He no longer needs to hide.
Heaven holds what Heaven can,
All excess is left to land,
Like grace upon the Earth,

Last days of school...Edel's poem :D
Seven years have passed,
And the day has come at last,
To kiss goodbye those apron strings,
And wonder what tomorrow brings.
But first let's take a while,
To open up that cherished file,
Crammed with memories we won't forget,
And the great friends that we have met.
First days are always extremely tense,
At least back then we had a bit of sense,
Under our teachers wings we were taken,
While in our shiny shoes we were shaken.
Three years were quite easily done,
An imust say we had some fun,
but then the dreaded GCSE's loomed,
I thought for sure we all were doomed.
However we made it into year 13,
The craziest year group the school had seen,
The common room was struck,
and the year 14s ran out of luck.
The sofa was their throne,
but we were made of stone,
this is when the war begun,
and of course the mighty 13s won.
We all made it to our final year,
And i think we cud all shed a tear,
For manys a happy day we had,
Although the teachers thought we were mad.
The formal was a brilliant night,
And everyone a beautiful sight,
Fnal exams are close to hand,
but tonight united we all stand.
As we reach our final day,
I would just like to say,
As we reluctantly depart,
This school will always be in my heart.
Our futures foundations we are now laying,
And id just like to end by saying,
St. Joseph's Grammar School,
Is most definately very cool

I have seen the rain fall,
For months people have called,
For Change to this watery wasteland,
Full of corrupt hopes of desecreted dreams
But It seems today as the sun does rise,
Power does not conceive, but hope
That led us to cry out,
To be the change we wish to see.
Believe that we can be more than is possible,
To reach for the unobtainable,
for if we do not try,
Then what is heaven for?
Perfection in harmony,
Release from the pain of isolation,
But we have a lot of work to do,
Not for you nor me, but our children.
Our future depends on the freedom that unity brings,
We must stand out in the rain together,
Look up at the clouds.

Oh you'll have lots of stuff to get before you start, I'm sure your mammy will miss you! You will definately have to come visit me....Oonagh is in Leeds too so we can all meet up! If you need anything when your over there don't be afraid to give me a shout, Manchester isn't that far away...if I can help I will!!

I'm good thanks! I have finished uni, no ost grad though...I'm joining the big bad world of work! I've got a job as a quantity surveyor in Manchester, so moving over there on Wednesday....scary!!
