INdium are a four-piece rock outfit based in the grounds of Emo Court Co. Laois. Formed in March 2007 from the remnants of a former band, and went through various names and line-ups until the arrival of Chris Cullen on skins. INdium was born.

Notable songs include "Make Me/Break Me" "Generation" and "Bones". The band are known for their selection of cover songs also, a few favourites and some flat out classics for good measure. Their raw, underground sound is a breath of fresh air in the current irish music scene.

    • 9/4/09 "SKY VENUE...WE LOVE SOUND CHICKS :P"

      To start this blog out I want to thank the SoundChicks so much for getting us to play Sky Venue. No Punk Intended (www.bebo.com/no-punk-intended ), another band which I (Jack) and Chris are members of, have played gigs there before and I must say it is savage. Well yesterday was no different, with Chris pounding away like an angry baboon myself and Elliot ripping it up on the auld guitars and Gav just being the suave mother fucker that he is (although I think he was just happy to have working mics :P )
      Another thanks to all of you who showed up especially our devoted fans who came all the way down (up or over I can never remember which) from Carlow; we love you all :)
      Thanks to Blue Syndrome ye rocked the fuck out of the place and to all the other bands it was excellent gigging with ye.
      A final thanks to the SoundChicks for graciously (aaaah no pun intended) giving us the gig. We will gladly do many more in the future.

      So for those of you who were there you may have noticed that Indium strayed out of their usual playing zone to head on down to Carlow for the Level 1 gig. Lads I'm telling you now it was some craic :)
      Much thanks to Adrian Garvey for hooking us up with the gig (and knowing like all the words to the songs) and to Paul Daly (never met a sounder chap). Also big shout out to K.I.A. and Cremation we all had fun.....
      Yeah if any of ye Carlow people want us down again just contact and we will provide :)

      we also have package deals to cater for those who cant spend to much.
      Plus we now have a facility in Dublin.
