Hi Im Niamh, I like stuff and wellies and monkeys, i also like going places of considerable interest, doing things of an interesting nature (If you see me stuck up a tree or on a roof somewhere for gods sake tell me to get down and behave myself, but please help me down first for I may have been up there for some time) and drinking drinks of interest. Im interesting, or so ive been told, I like to meet interesting people and find those interesting people i havent been interested by in quiet some time... old friends and the like.
My next interesting place shall be Thailand, My next interesting thing to do shall be making furry green pants, my next interesting drink shall be a Carlesberg.. Ta mate, your awfully good

  • Still here.. well somewhere else but still goin!

    Right, well its been a while, my apologies, ye all know im dreadful at keepin in touch! Right well im in ozzy now, in melbourne to be precise, in the library on swanston street to be more precise, sitiing at computer no.17 to be even more precise and of course sitting on my arse... Melbs is very cool, met up with my mate alana from nelson, in this crazy backpackers that now owns a piece of my soul and most of my liver, met up with pheebs that good ole tasy babe who i havent seen in 4 years, love it! As i always say its never goodbye, just see ya later!
    Twas my birthday on monday so had many drinks and delicious vegan pizza and twas quite a wonderful day one may say! Im now 24 and its gonna be a while before i see many of you again, when i do finally return, lots will have changed and lots will not have, i'll have wee baby neices runnin round who i'll never have met for one! My bro and his wife just had a gorgeous wee baby girl, "this is auntie niamho for the third time this life" and Ive another one on the way! not me, my sister i mean!! Right gotta go job hunting love ye all, i'll be more exciting soon x x x

  • shamrocks n shamknacks!

    Right so, as ye might have seen from me last comment got all me stuff nicked first night i arrived in nelson city, camera phone n ipod, kick in the ass but fuck it ya know! Still in the same back packers cos it rules! If yer ever in nelson go stay in retreat backpackers its the best hostel anywhere ive been, for those of you who have frequented or lived in 12a its got the same buzz as there, just as much madness and good times but without those loved ones from there..

    as fer the shamrocks, twas paddys day on monday and we did the irish proud.. 1 week bender! all the pubs were rockin and the green face paint was flowing as twas the guiness and all other kinds of alcohol! Irish started comin outa the woodwork right left n center, met some heads from galway the following day, john twas yer mate sandra n her friends! mad seein em, met more irish last week than i have whole time i been away, and no before ya ask im not missin yas in the slightest! Only messin, ya know I lov yas but i firmly believe ya should all be gettin yer arses over to see me n ac at BURNING MAN 08, NEVADA, US! we'll be headin over there in august and i'll be returning to oz to continue on me travels for another year or so, (so unfortunatelt if ye thought you'd be seein me at the end of this year, im sorry to break yer hearts, no stop it, look don't start cryin, look, jesus....) anyway, I''ll be hangin on in nelson for next few weeks so send people ya know this way, we'll look after them!

  • Right right.. brief one!

    So where'd I last leave ya..? think I was pickin kiwis in keri keri.. or somethin.. anyway after that went to folk fest back down in auckland, got rat arsed, did a jig, fell over, got confused to hell by the ceilidh dancin..(jasus and i thought it was ingrained in us irish or somethin, wrong!) got rat arsed again, sang a few songs, but not by myself.. wasnt that drunk! So it was pretty much like any other festival ive been to just music was different and there was lots of oldies and kids running about, but they were families... Great craic all the same though!

    So after the folk fest myself and ac said our goodbyes to rhi n jana n the heads and headed off to raggamuffin with Katrina for a bit of reggae! Katchafire, The Black seeds, Maxi Priest, Arrested Development, The Wailers n Ub40, yeah I know ub4o but it was class and no knacks like the galway one!! we'd been told about not bein able to bring drink in with us so a sneaky job of bottles strapped to the inside of the legs was done but just so happened trina n ac were wearing em on the inside n i was wearing em on the outside so as we had to walkj for about an hour round theplace tryin to get tickets (yeah i know, no forward planning but we got in and fer 60 instead of 110 so there!) But the girls couldnt really walk very fast and just kinda waddled behind me, very funny, looked like mix between constipation n bladder weakness, good laugh!

    Then meself n ac headed away down to hastings for just over a week, got some work in the wine business, feel awful posh sayin i was in the wine business,(really i was just tyin down nets round the vines so the birds couldnt eat em) but i like to say i was in the wine business...

    Righ so after that we buggered off down south n met katrina n garth in welly, disastrous situations tryin to find accom but finally managed to get into a campsite without a tent, all worked out though! Then we headed down on the ferry to picton had a lovely drive to nelson, another disastrous situation with accom n tryin to get afeed, theres a waitress in nelson who'd better watch out, but finally we got sorted got fed and got a few drinks in us! Headed off next morning to make our way to takaka where garths family have a bach(holidat home) on wainui beach which is right beside abel tasman national park, you cant even buy land in that area anymore cos its so preserved n garths grandad got it years n years ago fer $30! I've got pics have a look! unbelievably beautiful, golden sands from the quarts in the rocks, massive waterfalls nearby, big long beaches as far as the eye can see (basically the tits). Went swimming everyday, chilled out, had bbqs, this is what life is should be... So thats where ive been fer the past 2 weeks, back in civilisation now, place called motueka otherside of the hill from takaka but still quiet close.. im goin back! gonna get some work here for a while and save a bit of dosh up, gotta be done unfortunately.. and i have to go find a jiggers now, he's here somewhere...

    So my loves I'll hope to be talkin or writing or whatever to ye all soon, miss ye and love ye, big love from this side of the rock x x xx

    hay you. sorry i didn't get in touch with you. i got caught in bangkok, the thia people loved me so much that they stormed the airport so i couldn't get out.
    had to stay in bangkok for the week waiting to get out. in the end had to get a flight to singapore, then qantas got me a flight home. so it was fun.
    so we will have to put that fosters on hold for a while.
