So Christmas is over, everyones back at school and many of you are facing the prospect of exams this year . . . BUT never fear Oneway is here! As a team we have put in a lot of time and effort into making sure this term will be one to remember with many fresh, exciting and creative ideas!! So if you havn't already joined us and are interested you are most welcome to come along (the flyer is in the 'Oneway08' photo album which contains all the info you need). Oneway is for anyone aged s1 - s6 and runs every Thursday, 7.15-9.00pm at Gorgie Parish Church (the one right next to the Hearts stadium). Please pass on the message to anyone who may be interested and thank you for taking time out to read this, you wont regret it!!

'The BIG Chill' is here this summer! our all new, action packed programme is designed for local Edinburgh youth groups and leaders to unite and spend some time together over the long summer break. It is a three night event and will include a barbeque, crazy games in the park (e.g. capture the flag and cops and robbers) and a ceilidh to round things off! It is a great chance to meet new people and to bring friends along to a christian event that will engage with them. There will be short thoughts led by members of the oneway team at Gorgie. The thoughts will be looking at Spiderman 3 and comparing themes to how we live for God with the aid of a full adult spiderman costume (£34.99 bargain from toysrus!). youth weekend away 07 - Everyone is still sleeping it off, suitcases still need to be unpacked and socks washed... there also seems to be a common complaint of sour necks? maybe thats because of the crowd surfing?! during the weekend many things that wer expected to happen did happen: rod and fraz got injured we all got soaking wet and didnt get much sleep. however there were moments of the unexpected: jonnys Aussie dance actualy worked during a worship set, john cashman gave a surprise visit, boys actualy asked girls to dance at the ceilidh (ross black) and finaly the passion of the young people in the worship and group times that just blew the leaders away.
