JEREMY CLARKSON

Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson (born 11 April 1960) is an English broadcaster and writer who specialises in motoring. He writes weekly columns for The Sunday Times and The sun, but is better known for his role on the BBC TV show Top Gear. The show won an International Emmy in 2005. He and James May were the first people to reach the magnetic North Pole in a car, which was aired in a Top Gear special on the 25 July 2007 on BBC Two.

"Not a man given to considered opinion", according to the BBC, Clarkson is known to be opinionated and forthright in his views. In the Daily Mirror of 9 June 2000 he was described by Tony Parsons as a "dazzling hero of political incorrectness".

The Economist, on the subject of road pricing in UK, has also described him as a "skilful propagandist for the motoring lobby"




RICHARD HAMMOND

Richard Mark Hammond (born December 19, 1969), nicknamed "Hamster", is an English television and radio presenter best known for co-presenting the television programme Top Gear along with James May and Jeremy Clarkson from 2002 onwards, and co-hosting the live annual motoring show, MPH, in Earls Court and Birmingham NEC, alongside Tiff Needell and Jeremy Clarkson.

He also presented Brainiac: Science Abuse and writes a weekly column, which can be read in the motoring section of The Daily Mirror each Friday.



JAMES MAY

James Daniel May (born January 16th 1963 in Bristol, England) is a television presenter and award-winning journalist.

He is best known as co-presenter of motoring programme Top Gear alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. He also writes a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph's motoring section. On Top Gear, his nickname is "Captain Slow", as he constantly finishes last in high speed track races and generally presents with a laconic style. He has, however, carried out some exceptionally high-speed driving. He has become one of the very few in the world to have taken a Bugatti Veyron to its top speed of nearly 253 mph (407 km/h), one-third of the speed of sound.

He and Jeremy Clarkson were the first people (together with a small Icelandic support crew) to reach the Magnetic North Pole in a car. The expedition was aired on a Top Gear special on BBC Two on July 25th 2007. May was also, according to Clarkson, the first man to reach the Magnetic North Pole who didn’t really want to go there in the first place.
