You may have celebrated more birthdays, crashed more cars, did more drugs and went through more phases than me, but that doesn't mean you're better.

Just means you happened to be born before me, thus making all the stupid mistakes that I learn from you and never commit myself. For that I thank you.


Yarr, we live in a world where the young get charged as adults yet cannot have adult privileges. A double standard if there ever was one.

Moreover, American teens as young as 18, not old enough to drink yet, fight and die for the freedom's they don't have. Happens in other countries too, mind you.


"But Cruz, ur a yung ppl n dat meenz u dnt kno as much as mi!!1"

Really? How do you know that what I know isn't proportional to what you know? Can you read minds? No? Then lay the hell off.

"Age is experience."

No. Experience is what you've learned. Much to my dismay, it seems like you've learned nothing.


"Respect your elders!"

You traditional bastard. Show respect first, then I won't treat you like the hemorrhaging mong you are. I'm human, you're human. Just because you pay child support doesn't make you better than me, m'kay?


I'd like to end this with a note;
We've been letting the old run our countries for years, and shit's been going backwards. If it hasn't been working thusfar, don't you think something should change? We elect the very people who can't drive 23 kilometers an hour without having to slow down before they hit a tree to run our nations. Is there not a pattern here? No?

Must be losing my mind then, carry on.

Of the two examples of perceived persons below, whom would you be more apt to welcome into your home?

1. 18 year old man dating a 17 year old girl
2. 60 year old man dating an 18 year old woman

Do laws ever conflict with perceived moral standards?

Is law in conflict with puberty?

Does an 18 year old man deserve registered sex offender status for expressing intimacy with his 17 year old girlfriend?

What are the chances that the 60 year old has love on his mind with the 18 year old?

Might a 17 year old girl noted for being "wise beyond her years" since grade school be more of a woman than the aforementioned 60 year old is a man?

It is not my wish to impose standards, or condone behavior that people have seen fit to criminalize, only to point out that chronological age may be seen as relative in terms of perceived maturity.

Our aspect known as Osho discussed how the body's perceived readiness and the establishment's encouragement of repression through legislation contributes to the perceived obsession, thus magnifying it to a whole new level of perception.

This life is about you, your freedom, and your ability to exercise that freedom. Ask yourself at what point your freedom might affect another aspect of you to do the same.

Is it perceived age or perceived innocence/maturity with which we should be most concerned?

The preceding series of questions would apply to those who wish to express physical intimacy, or have concern for those who do, so this adds another ingredient to the stew being stirred within the pot.
