- Born in Brockley, South East London, Eksman is known for his flows, patterns and the lyrical content he manages to deliver so clear and precisely over drum and bass music. He started his mc career in 1996 when he first got on to Pressure fm. Linking up with his long time friend Herbsie, the reputation of the duo spread quickly across London’s airwaves following their debut in 1996 as ravers turned on to their unique style of MCing. 2003 saw Eksman shoot straight to the top of the Drum and Bass mcing ranks, taking awards, Best Breakthrough MC, Best Newcomer MC, Within a single year he went from Best New Comer MC to winning the overall Best Lyrical MC dethroning and taking this title from the infamos Mc Skibadee, who came in a close 2nd place. 2005 saw Eksman host the first Drum and Bass mc show on radio1xtra, and was also voted Best Drum and Bass MC on the 1xtra online poll. he is still goin strong wit hits like NA BLUDD, joinin up wit dj ZINK to produce DRIVE BY CAR plus many more!!!!

Mentorn television is making a second series of Underage and Pregnant for BBC Three, a documentary series following young mums-to-be through pregnancy, birth and having a baby. It’s about telling the real stories of teenagers who are pregnant and hearing about your experiences in your words.
