I just thought about something...yea I know...its virtually two in the morning when I started writing this but a question just dawned on me.
Is sticking to your principals ok even if it destroys 90% of your friendships around you?
Why im asking myself this is (as most people know) I had a blow-up with someone in a group of friends last year. Before that, I had a group of 5-6 people I considered "friends" but...but now...I don't know if they consider me as a friend then or now. I've only really kept in contact with one, and I run into one occasionally at the mall, but apart from that, I wouldn't have had one decent conversation with any of them.
At the time of the argument, I didn't believe I was wrong in any way, so I didn't and haven't apologized, because I don't see a need to...anyway, sometimes I think the person I argued with feeds off this sort of situation...
But in this case-was sticking to what I believed in good? Or was it just another way of obliterating most of my friends?
