    • FLYING DRUMSTICKS

      OK, here's the situation..

      Bro. Pat was in one of his playing moods Thursday eve, and he kept going on an upbeat song. Well, fat guys have a tendency to sweat when they move too much..lol, needless to say, my hands started sweating, ALOT, which made the new sticks hard to hold on to, because of the smooth finish. Ennyhoo, I decided to switch sticks, to the heavier sticks with a rougher finish. I TRIED to lay my left stick on the ledge, which it wound up rolling off and onto the floor, so I figured, ok, that wasn't too bad, it coulda' rolled into the baptismal tank. So, I have a better stick in my left hand, now to get the right 1, so, since my right was playing the hihat, I had to figure out how to get the stick and keep playing. Here's what I did....pitched the light stick over my right shoulder, and grabbed the other stick off the bassdrum all in the motion and all in 4 beats....I thought I did a pretty good job of it since I kept the bass and snare beats going....well, ennyhoo, that's the story of the flying drumsticks...........til next time,

      Well, since Wendy hasn't posted it, we got a new car on Friday. Most of the church has seen it already, but it's a 2000 Grand Marquis, and it has ALL the bells and whistles, just keep Mark away from it, he might think it's a TRAIN,,,lol
