- The Holloways resilience in recent times has led to what feels like a rebirth. Following the Nambucca fire in 2008, Dave and Rob decided to leave the group; but in April 2009 Alfie and Bryn decided to seek new members and in the 1st jam they found guitarist Mike Baker, who after playing 1 song with the band had done enough for them to make up their mind. The following day Ed Harris set up his drums and did a quick warm up and before even playing a song the decision again, was easy. Luck had swung back in The Holloways’ favour. A new lease of life took the boys into the studio for 2 hectic weeks before doing a few gigs and recording 3 brand new songs.
The energy and the bond in the band has seen the boys enjoy an intense schedule which is already relighting many fires ahead of the release of the new album “No Smoke, No Mirrors” which is due for a September release. The boys will be back on the road through the year and the future is one they can hardly wait to sink their teeth into.

Would you like us to perform live to you in your house?
As you may have heard, we had an unlucky start to the year with our spiritual home Nambucca being burned to the ground. Nevertheless, not all is doom and gloom. We’ve just released our new album ‘No Smoke, No Mirrors’ and are on a full UK tour now. However, we want to play an exciting new venue to showcase our new songs from the album along with our classics including ‘Generator’ to some lucky fans.
The venue? YOUR HOUSE PARTY!!!
Yes that’s right! Fancy having us play in your living room, student halls, house party or Nan’s retirement home?
