- Me, Myself, and I
- Nakba day
Before 1948 the state of Israel did not exist, on a map all that would be seen was Palestine. It was decided after WWII that the Jews needed a new place in which they could live with out fear. The UK government created a mandate stating that the Arab state can be used for their new Home, the Zionist agreed.
next comes the removal of ALL NON-JEWS whom reside there. It is estimated over 700 THOUSAND people were forced out of their homes at gun point. whole cities were ethnically cleansed of Arabs, BY BRITTISH FORCES for the incoming zionist nation.
IMAGINE CREATING A COUNTRY ON TOP OF ANOTHER ONE, HOW DO YOU THINK THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED?
Nakba day, or catastorphe day, was set up to remember the families who were removed form their homes. Palestine was not involved with WWII, yet after it these people have endured far worse than germany or japan combined, just look at all they have lost since then.
ON THIS DAY PALESTINIAN NATIONAL IDENTITY WAS DENIED.

- during my teens i had always felt that socialist society would indeed be a utopian one. But, as most do, i felt that this was highly unatainable. could you imagine if we went up to stewart milnes house and said "basically everything you own is now the property of the people. all your land now belongs to us and were gonna give it to poor farmers."
highly amusing, but would never happen right.however what our media is leaving out right now is Venezuela and their currrent events.they currently have a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM of the like the world has never seen before.in fact for their last elections 67% of the nation voted, the highest record since the 60's in THE WORLD.it is because of this that I BEG OF YOU please watch Venzuela as they proceed and MAKE YOUR OWN OPINION.
VIVA LA REVOLUCION - Fast food culture
- Evidently we have now become a nation reliant upon quick fixes and simplicity. we chose the use of macdonalds and a microwave over that of real cooking for the sake of laziness. however this disease has now spread and become endemic in what is known as hiphop. Today the artist is less concerned about quality than quantity, and they are now required to simply produce CLUB MUSIC. but FUCK THAT i want substance and diversity in my music. i want real food. im malnurished with all this generic, homogenous garbage that is chronically proliferated through what is known as popular culture. im hungry and i DONT want no big mac, i want a steak with boiled tatties, steamed brocoli and a solid dollip of good ass mustard.
- Noam Chomksy: UK and US relations
- if you look at the British diplomatic history, back in the 1940s, Britain had to make a decision. Britain had been the major world power, the United States though by far the richest country in the world, was not a major actor in the global scene, except regionally. By the Second World War it was obvious the US was going to be the dominant power, everyone knew that. Britain had to make a choice. Was it going to be part of what would ultimately be a Europe that might move towards independence, or would it be what the Foreign Office called a junior partner to the United States? Well it essentially made that choice, to be a junior partner to the United States. US, the leaders have no illusions about this. So during the Cuban missile crisis, for example, you look at the declassified record, they treated Britain with total contempt. Harold McMillan wasn"t even informed of what was going on and Britain"s existence was at stake. It was dangerous. One high official, probably Dean Atchers --he"s

continuous seasons
Bob Dylan once wrote in 1963 “the times they are a changing”. A brief analysis of that decade shows exactly what Dylan was referring to. The world was then entangled in a perilful nuclear arms race, with the threat of complete annihilation of the Human race seeming both possible and inevitable, as envisioned by Russell and Einstein. The civil rights movement was also gaining enough momentum to smash through the barriers which segregated schools, cinemas and even playgrounds.
Women were now breaking free of mental shackles and realising that they were not only equal to men, but were now demanding to be treated like men. No more would they be taught that a women’s place was in the home, or if in an office, a secretary was her only capable role. I find it important to highlight, that almost 20 years after the disbandment of the Hitler youth, a government was still “programming” their women to be perfect housewives with their immaculate stitching and baking skills. One of the many similarities between Anglo-American and Nazi Germany policies.
And if being a woman was not bad enough, African Americans were taking the stage to start their civil right campaign. At the forefront were great leaders like Martin Luther King Jr, who acted as the spark to ignite flames within the minds of many black youths. It was now very clear that democracy was not as fair and balanced as what might be suggested. Truelly the world was undergoing a change, and Activism was to take front stage, the underlining issue discussed by Dylan in his song.
The correlation between time and change is easier seen than a thong in the Red light. In time everything changes. Going back to the dawn of time itself, immense changes would occur both immediately after the big bang, right up to today. The creation of protons and electrons, which then fused together to create hydrogen. The formation of the stars and planets, leading to the fusion of atoms with in a star’s nuclear core thus creating elements. Even evolution, starting with a protein molecule, proceeding to enzymes and finally an amoeba. A series of events which sceptics would leave you to believe was mere chance or luck, I normally follow that with immense laughter and the comment that “obedience is more important that acceptance, come the point of rapture”.
So it would seem that Time and change are, infact, synonymous. One thing symbolic of this is the seasons. Every year the weather will change, relative to the sun, around 4 main seasons- Autumn, winter, Spring and summer, tho sometimes its hard to tell which one your actually in. Even more reflective, is that the change in seasons is never ending, they will continue to do so long after this planet becomes inhabitable, until our sun dies out and takes the solar system with it.
One thing, however, which has not changed, are certain traits of human nature. Mankind has always, and will always, seek ways to build up current society. To advance both scientifically and economically. We will always seek companionship, be it with just friends, or with your lover, to reproduce unto build families to continue your bloodline through out generations. All traits which existed both at the dawn of man, to the great empires of the Aztecs and Romans, right up to today.
Although as a race we might not have changed much, as individuals we all will undergo immense changes, physically, mentally and in personality. With each year, each change of the seasons, our body matures along wit our minds, tho not always at the same rate. You will develop beliefs and opinions that are personal to you, which in time will change with life experience. What you may feel to be true at the age of 14, you may find illusion by the time you hit 40, that’s just life really. Many will try to argue that they have not changed, that they are still Albert Johnson or Margaret Wilson, for it is this change in an individual, which can be most hurtful to their friends, and th1 Comment 784 days

Hiphop declaration of peace
This Hiphop Declaration of Peace guides Hiphop Kulture toward freedom from violence, and establishes advice and protection for the existence and development of the international Hiphop community. Through the principles of this Hiphop Declaration of Peace we, Hiphop Kulture, establish a foundation of Health, Love, Awareness, Wealth, peace and prosperity for ourselves, our children and their children's children, forever. For the clarification of Hiphop's meaning and purpose, or when the intention of Hiphop is questioned, or when disputes between parties arise concerning Hiphop; Hiphoppas shall have access to the advice of this document, The Hiphop Declaration of Peace, as guidance, advice and protection.
First Principle
Hiphop (Hip´Hop) is a term that describes our independent collective consciousness. Ever growing, it is commonly expressed through such elements as Breakin, Emceein, Graffiti Art, Deejayin, Beatboxin, Street Fashion, Street Language, Street Knowledge and Street Entrepreneurialism. Wherever and whenever these and future elements and expressions of Hiphop Kulture manifest; this Hiphop Declaration of Peace shall advise the use and interpretation of such elements, expressions and lifestyle.
Second Principle
Hiphop Kulture respects the dignity and sanctity of life without discrimination or prejudice. Hiphoppas shall thoroughly consider the protection and the development of life, over and before the individual decision to destroy or seek to alter its natural development.
Third Principle
Hiphop Kulture respects the Laws and agreements of its culture, its country, its institutions and whomever it does business with. Hiphop does not irresponsibly break Laws and commitments.
Fourth Principle
Hiphop is a term that describes our independent collective consciousness. As a conscious way of life, we acknowledge our influence on society, especially on children; and we shall forever keep the rights and welfare of both in mind. Hiphop Kulture encourages womanhood, manhood, sisterhood, brotherhood, childhood and family. We are conscious not to bring any intentional disrespect that jeopardizes the dignity and reputation of our children, elders and ancestors.
Fifth Principle
The ability to define, defend and educate ourselves is encouraged, developed, preserved, protected and promoted as a means toward peace and prosperity, and toward the protection and the development of our self-worth. Through knowledge of purpose and the development of our natural and learned skills, Hiphoppas are encouraged to always present their best work and ideas.
Sixth Principle
Hiphop Kulture honors no relationship, person, event, act or otherwise wherein the preservation and further development of Hiphop's culture, principles and elements are not considered or respected. Hiphop Kulture does not participate in activities that clearly destroy or alter its ability to productively and peacefully exist. Hiphoppas are encouraged to initiate and participate in fair trade and honesty in all negotiations and transactions.
Seventh Principle
The essence of Hiphop is beyond entertainment: The elements of Hiphop Kulture may be traded for money, honor, power, respect, food, shelter, information and other resources; however, Hiphop and its culture cannot be bought, nor is it for sale. It (Hiphop) cannot be transferred or exchanged by or to anyone for any compensation at any time or at any place. Hiphop is not a product. Hiphop is the priceless principle of our self-empowerment.
Eighth Principle
Companies, corporations, non and not-for-profit organizations, as well as individuals and groups that are clearly benefiting from the use, interpretation and/or exploitation of the term Hiphop, (i.e. Hip Hop, hip-hop,) and the expressions and terminologies of Hiphop, (i.e. Hip Hop, hip-hop,) are encouraged to commission and/or employ a full-time or part-time certified Hiphop Kultural Specialist to interpret and answer s1 Comment 1024 days
